Chapter 13 : Insanity

Matt listened as Mark was explaining what had happened to him and why they were so mad at Sean. Matt said "Well, can't keep focusing on the past." Sean said "Finally someone isn't mad at me! " Mark said "Quick question Matt. " Matt said "Yeah? " Mark said " What happened to you when it wore off?" Matt said "Horrible headache, and then I realised that I actually had control over myself , so I saw my chance tried to get out, twisted my ankle and limped the rest of the way." Nate said " How's your ankle?" Matt said "I've felt worse pain." Mark said "That's the spirit." Nate said " What now? " Mark said"We make a run for it. " Sean said"Why can't we just sit here? " Matt said "Pretty obvious why we can't. " Sean looked at Matt and said "Think they know you're gone? " Matt rolled his eyes and said "Well, yeah they're not idiots sadly. " And then he groaned. Mark looked at Matts ankle and said "How bad does it hurt? " Matt said "Bad to the point where I can barely put pressure on it." Sean said "Geez how long did it take you to get down the hallway? " Matt said "Forever." Nate said " Shocked they didn't catch you. " Matt said "Right? " Mark said "How you feeling?" Matt said "Besides the fact that I twisted my ankle I think I'm doing great! " Sean said "Well that's good!" Matt said "So now what? " Mark said "Well we had a plan, but now that I think about it I think it might make things worse. " Matt said "What? " Nate said "To bring our other egoes here. " Matt said "Yeah I can see how that could backfire. " Nate said "Well do you have anything?" Matt said "Think about the computer? " Mark said "Yeah we thought about that and they're going to make it hard for us to get it. " Matt said "What's point in not trying? " Nate said "What's with the sudden optimism? " Matt said "When you get turned into a zombie twice you become optimistic. " Mark said "Speaking of that I'm shocked Dark hasn't come searching for you yet. " Matt said "Me too. " Sean said "Well at least we don't have to worry about him right? " Matt said "Sure." Mark said "We should get going there's no telling where they are. " Mark grabbed Matt's arm and helped him up. Gab said "Now what? " Matt said "I know where the lab is. " Nate said " Can you show us? " Matt said "Yeah, go straight. " The group walked down the hallway for a while. Matt said "There it is. " Mark said "Let's go. " They walked in. Mark said "See anything Matt? " Matt didn't say anything. Sean said "Matt are you alright? " Nate looked at him and said "Matt what's wrong?" Matt grabbed his head and said "Go, get out of here now! " Sean said "Matt are you okay?" Matt's eye suddenly turned green and with a deep voice he said "Go." Mark said "Come on we gotta go.
