Ryan's POV
It's been a while since I've heard frome either Wade or Evan. Probably a good thing to be honest. I don't need them anyway. Recently I've still been out fighting crime and what not. More and more people are doing it. So why not help out instead of hiding away like Evan. I know he hasn't been out in a while because everytime he does something it's on the news the next day. He is the city's big hero. The news has been quiet about him recently. Which can only mean he is out of his costume for a bit. Wade was never the center of attention and he can only be found if he wants to be found. So don't know what's going on with him recently. I was living in my small apartment with my girlfriend Emma. She had a real job and paid for just about everything. I stole Evans idea and started taking money from the criminals I take down. It was only so Emma wouldn't start asking questions about how I never had money. My excuse was that I kept getting fired from jobs. That was working so far but I couldn't keep it up. I couldn't tell her that I was one of the crime fighting vigilantes. Not because I was worried she'd be angry at me or try to make me stop. No I know what she'd really do. Emma wants to be a cop and if she really wants that more than anything, she wouldn't approve of my methods. She might even call the cops on me herself. But then again maybe I should stop. Everything is going agaisnt me here. I lost both my best friends and possibly might end up loosing my girlfriend. From now on I'm not going to be fighting anymore. Damn I guess I'll never come up with a superhero name either. I always struggled with that. So I never got to have one.
So been a few days since I gave up the crime fighting and a part of me feels good. The other part feels like I should be out there right now giving it everything I have. Maybe I'm addicted to it. Wow addicted to being a superhero, didn't think that was a possible thing until now. It's given me more time to spend with Emma and just have a normal life. I have an actual job now. I'm a bouncer for a club. It's similar to being a superhero but less intense. With me having a job and everything now Emma can go and start her police training. Life was actually good. I tried not to think about Wade and Evan. To the point where I started looking for new friends. Which sounds easier than it actually is. Then everything changed Evan left me a voicemail. I couldn't believe it at first. Then I listened to it.
"Hey its me Evan. Look I know I'm the last possible person you'd be wanting to talk to at the moment. Just hear me out though. Out of all the time I've had to myself I've been thinking. Maybe I was wrong about you going out and fighting. For now I need us both to put all that aside for a bit, Wade too. I don't know if you know but I've been working with this group recently. They ended up backstabbing me. At this point I don't know who to trust anymore. All I know is I can rely on you and Wade. So please help me just this once. Lives are at stake here." Evan said in the message. Screw him I'm not helping. He had my chance to have my help. All he did was throw it all away and now he comes back asking. If he is lucky he'll have Wade help him but not me.
Wade's POV
So what's been happening with me ever since the whole argument. Well not much really. Sorry to be boring. I've just been struggling with the whole situation. Both of them are my best friends. Which meant I couldn't possibly choose sides between them. Best option just stay away from it all together or at least I hope its the best option. I don't know anymore. I'm supposed to be the smart one but I can't find any answers to this. Instead of trying to solve it I just started distracting myself. I've been building all new kinds of gadgets. Some of this stuff is pretty cool. Apart from that I needed a job because unlike Evan and Ryan I can't take money from the bad guys. I work at a shop that fixes phones. As you probably have noticed already I have nowhere near as much skill as Evan and Ryan when it comes to fighting. I had to come up with my own way of stopping crime. The thing I came up with is a perfect balance between stopping crimes and working a real job. When I get people's phones I can hack into them, place trackers or just listen to their phone calls. Some people may think it's wrong and invasion of privacy. It's a way that I can stop crime before it actually happens. When I do find evidence for something I'll send it to the police and hope they do something about it. While I was working my phone rang. It was Evan I decided to leave it. I was too busy to talk plus I didn't really want to anyway. He ended up leaving a voice message.
"Hi Wade it's me Evan. Now before you stop listening this isn't about the argument at all. I need your help with something. You and Ryan. People may be in danger and I can't let anyone get hurt. If things go wrong it could cause a lot of trouble for everyone. So please help out. My group that I was with ended up turning agaisnt me. They are go after the Chester family. If they kill any of them then everything is going to be blamed on us superheros. Which would mean we can't do any of this anymore. So help, don't help. Just do what you feel is right." Evan said. I don't know how to react to that. I don't know if I should help him. What if Ryan sees that as me going on Evans side. Or what if this is just Evan trying to get me to work with him again. I think the best thing is to stay out of it again. Evans a big boy he can handle things on his own.
