Epilogue

I went back to just sitting around in my apartment doing nothing with my life. I started getting depressed again. Feeling like I didn't have a real purpose and if I did I couldn't live up to it at all. So I gave up. Like I said before though if I give this up what do I have left. Well the answer is absolutely nothing. At least Wade and Ryan didn't leave me alone this time. They would regularly come and check up on me. One day they did something for me that I didn't think was possible for me. It started when I heard a knock on the door. I opened it and in came Wade.

"Look I know me and Ryan can't get you out of this shitty mood so we brought help. I'll leave you to it. If you need anything just call." Wade said and just like that he left the apartment. Who was he talking about though. Then in came Kasey. Looking as beautiful as ever. I couldn't believe it. She actually came back to me. Now what do I do. Do I hug her or kiss her or what. I don't know what her intention's are. Oh god this is awkward. Also most scared I've been in for a while. She came up to me and gave me a massive hug. We stayed in silence for a while. Just focusing on the moment right then and there.

"I'm done being The Bird. I'm done going out crime fighting. As long as I get to be with you." I said to her while still hugging her. She let go and I saw her starting to tear up.

"I couldn't ask you to do anything like that though not for me." Kasey replied.

"I'm not doing it just for you, this is for me too." I said to her. After that we took thing's slow and after a few month's we decided to make thing's official. We even thought about starting a family. I've realised that the world already has enough heroes. Ryan ended up teaming up with two other superheroes. Even though the police banned us we couldn't be seen by them at all now or we'd end up in jail. Didn't stop Ryan or his new friend's. Wade ended up focusing more on his science and technology. Making all unique gadgets for us. He was convinced I'd need them some day. You gotta love his spirit.

In other new's I heard that Flynn and Adam started a business together. So they are still working together just not stopping crime kinda work. I also read in the newspaper that the guy that killed Roxanne's brother got realesed from jail. Only some very powerful people could've done that. The next few day's he ended up going missing. Nobody's seen him since. My guess is that Roxanne finally got her revenge. It's not my problem now I now have a family to look after. I'm done with that life now. Time the just be boring old Evan Roger's.
