The Clubhouse was quite once again. The bustle of bodies and heavy boots silenced by the heavy atmosphere which had fallen over them like a suffocating blanket.
Three days had passed since the fight broke out on viper territory and not much had changed. Everyone was quite, hoping for a phone call at any minute, anticipating news from Emily.

"Can we go see them today?" Lennox asked into the silent bar.
"I'll have to check with Em. But maybe" Maddox replied with a smile.

The siblings sat in the bar, surrounded by their brothers. Chaos was up in Erik's office trying to catch up on the weeks worth of work that hadn't been done yet.
"I hope everything is okay" Marlene said from behind the bar.
"It would be if it wasn't for me" all eyes were on Lennox as soon as the words had left her mouth. "Are you kidding me!" Mackenzie and Marlene almost screeched are her.

"Len don't be stupid" She looked to Billie with a sad smile, she knew they were right to some extent. But she just couldn't get rid of that feeling of guilt weighing her down. With a sigh she went back to her thoughts, her mind drifting to her man upstairs. Chos has been so busy that she felt as tho she had barely seen him at all since they got back. But she saw how happy he was to be filling in for his President, so she didn't really mind.

"So what are we doing today?" Bones asked from his place on one of the plush leather couches in the den.
"Chaos is talking with out sister charters, sorting out shipments and getting on top of paperwork. Motor shop is closed because Thor ain't here.... kitchen is closed because Em ain't here" Hammer finished with a mischievous grin, although somewhat sexist he was able to elicit a small laugh from those of us in the bar.

"We just have to wait" Wink cut in, looking to his wife behind the bar. He was worried for his brother... we all were.

From that point everyone busied themselves. Lennox started her homework that Jamie had left for her and she was currently attempting to read one of his books.
Making notes along the way and highlighting sections she didn't quite understand... so she could ask him when he was feeling better.

If he ever felt better.

But she wasn't going to think like that. Her mind was trained on this cat in a hat the story was telling her about.
Sure, it wasn't anything like to books on Cillian's night stand but this was her first book ever! She was proud of herself nonetheless.

"Hey baby, what'Cha doing?" A thick voice asked her from behind her seat. Instantly she threw everything down and slumped over the table in an attempt to hide her pitiful attempts at learning how to read.
"Heyyyy.... me? Oh nothing! I'm actually rather bored" was her reply, paired with a sheepish grin. But Chaos, obviously, wasn't having any of it. He looked at her knowingly, he knew she couldn't resist his stern facade. Crossing his arms over his chest he looked down into her baby blue eyes... waiting for her to break.

"Fine!" She exclaimed before moving off the table and angling herself to face the corner of the room. She knew she should have hidden better. Chaos kissed the top of her head and with a chuckle he sat down next to her at the table. Looking over her papers it dawned on him... the work that was in the envelope he accidentally... took a peak at.
"Jamie has been helping me" she said in a small voice, eyes downcast and trained on the dark wooden flooring.
"Need me to help you with anything angel?" He said gently. He knew this would be a touchy subject for her and he had a sneaky suspicion that she was embarrassed if the flush of pink in her cheeks was any thing to go by.
