The door opened and two cops walked in. The male cop was smiling at the two of us. He had a creepy smile. I wanted to punch him in the face. I could tell he was going to be a problem. He had that same creepy smile Pops always had those last few months before I ran away. The lady cop was explaining their set up to us when I interrupted her, "Sorry, lady, but we ain't stayin'."
"We saved you. You owe us." The lady cop said. "I'm Dawn and this is Gorman."
"I didn't ask you to do anything for me." I said snarling. "I didn't need savin' anyway, I was with a group and my brother. I'm goin' back and you can't stop me."
"You're a fiesty one," Gorman spoke up, "I like you." He winked at me and I shivered.
"Just give us a chance, it's a lot better in here than out there." Dawn said before walking out. Gorman just stared at us smiling. When they left I turned to Beth.
"I don't care how bad it is out there. I'm gonna get back to Daryl." She nodded in agreement.
"We will get back to the others."
They came back in a little later to give us our job assignments. They took Beth to work with this Doctor Edwards guy and put me with this kid Noah in laundry. He seemed like a really nice kid. He was telling me his story about how these people found him and his dad. "They could only save one of us. That's what they said. They didn't save him because he was stronger, he could fight back." He smiled at me before continuing, "They think I'm weak but I'm not. I'm getting out of here." I stood there in silence looking at him for a minute before making my decision to trust Noah.
"You got a plan?" I asked him. He nodded. "Me and my friend Beth are in. Just let us know when we're goin'." He nodded again. I left the laundry and walked back to our room. Gorman was coming out with a huge, creepy smile. He winked at me and walked down the hall whistling. I broke into a run for the door. I was scared of what I might find when I got in there. All the unbearable things that this creep could have done to Beth. I opened the door to Beth sitting on the edge of her bed staring at the floor. "What was that creep in here for? Did he hurt you?" Beth shook her head no.
"He was just talking but he gives me the creeps."
"Me too," I said as I put an arm around her and told her about Noah. "He said he's got a plan for gettin' outta here."
"Good I hope it's soon," Beth said staring at the door, "I have a feeling that something bad's about to happen."

When I woke up in the morning Beth was gone and Gorman was standing over me. He reached down and brushed my cheek with the back of his hand. I slapped it away and he smiled even wider. He ran his finger down my arm and grabbed both my wrists slamming them into the pillow above my head and held me there. I struggled to get free as he climbed on top of me. "This will be a lot easier if you don't fight it." He leaned down pressing his lips to mine and prying my mouth open with his tongue. We he pulled back I spit in his face earning a backhand to the face but he had released my wrist and I seized the opportunity. I slid my hand under my pillow looking for my knife but it was gone. So I brought my fist around and punched him in the stomach. He was still on top of me, unfortunately I couldn't get a good swing on that punch and it barely fazed him. I was actually starting to panic a little. This guy could do whatever he wanted to do to me and I had no way to defend myself. He pulled my knife from his back pocket, "Looking for this?" He was looking really smug and twirling my knife around in his fingers. I bucked hard and he lost his balance falling to the floor. I stood up as quickly as I could, I could feel the blood trickling down my face from the earlier hit and I was dizzy. I didn't give him time to regain his composure. I started kicking him in the stomach over and over. I was so pumped with adrenaline now all I could see was red. Someone grabbed me to pull me away. I turned and swung my fist, Dawn ducked and tackled me to the floor. It took a few minutes but she held me down until I was calmer and then she got up and walked over to Gorman. She whispered something to him and he left. He stopped at the door and looked at me. Dawn was in front of me just staring at me with a scowl on her face. I kept my eyes on Gorman as he pointed and mouthed to me, "You're mine." He left and Dawn started in on her lecture to me about cooperating and working together. I couldn't wait for her to shut up. She was so full of shit.
I did everything in my power to avoid Gorman and it's worked so far. I haven't seen him since our encouter early this morning and the day was halfway over now. I went to linen storage to get fresh sheets for the beds. I was standing there pulling sheets down when someone pushed me into the wall. I put my hands up to shield my face from crashing into the wall so now I was leaning against the wall with my palms flat against it and up by my head. He pulled my hands down behind my back and tied them together before grabbing my hair and slamming my head into the wall. I could hardly stand up from that blow to the head, I was so dizzy and blood was tricking down into my eyes causing my vision to blur. He untied my hands and pressed his body against mine pushing my tighter against the wall. He put a hand on top of my head and stroked my hair as he whispered into my ear, "I told you; You're mine" My head was throbbing so bad now. I barely knew where I was but I knew exactly what he was going to do and I couldn't do anything to stop it. I won't cry, I won't give him that satisfaction. He pulled my pants down and kicked my feet apart and then I heard the zipper of his pants. That sound was magnified a thousand times and it made my head hurt even more. He rammed himself into me over and over again. I felt like I was in slow motion and this was never going to end. He finally finished and released me from his hold and I fell to the ground. My vision was completely blurred now but I could feel his hot breath on my face as he knelt down inches from my face and reiterated, "You are mine. I will take what I want whenever I want it." He stood up and I heard the zipper of his pants again before I blacked out.
