Bucky was laying in his bed a few days later. He was tossing his phone when it buzzed.
From: Unknown Number
"Where ya been at Barnes? Your brother has been around but not you. To good for us now?"
To : Unknown Number
"My brother? Let me know when the next party is and I will be there."
From: Unknown Number
"Yes your brother. There is one this Saturday at 8pm @ Xavier's"
To:Unknown Number
"U dont tell my brother that Im coming. I need to talk to him he hasn't been home in weeks."
From: Unknown Number
"I know..he has been crashing on my couch. See you Saturday Barnes."
Bucky swallowed hard. The last time he went to one of the parties at Xavier's his sister tried to pin q pregnancy on him. "Sawyer.." he whispered.
He sent her a text.
To: Sawyer R.
"I need to talk to you about something. I cant do it through text or a phone call. Meet down at my creek."
From: Sawyer R.
"Okay..???"
She got in her jeep she drove up the road to Bucky's house. She drove past his house to go down to the creek. She parked her jeep next to his four wheeler.
He was pacing on the docks. "Buck?" She said
"Im trusting you with this information Sawyer. The boys already know so please don't let me down." He said
"Okay.." she said
"My brother Bradley he is missing. He likes to go off when things are to tense here. Or things with Hannah are bad. He does alot of shit that gets himself in trouble like drugs and parties. Sometimes he would let me go with him." He said
"Okay.." she said
"I got a text from one of his buddies. Saying that he has been crashing with them. They invited me to the party this weekend. I hate to ask this cause Steve would kill me if he knew. But I need you to go with me as my date. The last time I went to one of these parties at one of these dudes houses. His sister tried to pin a pregnancy on me. So I don't want to go alone.." he said
She swallowed hard. "Its not like our parties?" She said
"No..its way worse. No party games alot of drinking smoking other party drugs. Please Sawyer I need to atleast see if Bradley is okay..he never stays gone this long. He has a daughter that is one." He said
She chewed the inside of her lip. "Okay I will go..but you don't leave me alone understand?" She said
"I won't..but we need to take you shopping. You can't wear what you normally wear. And you need dark make up and nails." He said
"I can do that." She said
"Good..dont tell anyone.." he said
"I won't." She said as she got in her jeep.
"Do I need to go with you?" He said
"No I got it.." she said as she put her jeep in reverse.
Friday night Sawyer got her nails done alone. Bucky was checking his motorcycle tires. She pulled into his driveway with her cheer bag.
"Where is Steve?" He said
"He and Natasha are gone for the weekend. What do you think?" She said as she showed him her nails.
