(10) It's A Positive

They went to his house after they got back to their side of town. Once they were in his room she went to his bathroom. Bucky sat on the edge of his bed thinking.

"How? How could this happen? Im always careful. I religously use condoms. She is on birth control I had back ups. Oh god Steve is going to kill me..oh god dad is going to kill me.."

In the bathroom as she sat in the floor she was thinking.

"Oh my god..Steve Dad mom everyone is going to kill me. 17 Sawyer you just turned 17 and a junior. Now you are possibly pregnant by your brother's best friend. He always told you his friends were off limits what the fuck is wrong with you. And how in the fuck did this happen?? Pregnant at 17 Sawyer Grace..with a boy that doesn't love you. He belongs to someone else."

Her watch went off she flipped them over. She swallowed hard as she opened the door. Bucky sat up when he heard the door open.

"So?" He whispered

"Im pregnant..its a positive.." she whispered as she hands all five to him.

"How did this happen? We were careful. We had double the protection Sawyer?" He whispered as she sat in his lap.

"I don't know. I mean we had like three rounds each night." She whispered.

"We have to tell our parents in the morning. As much as I don't want to do that we have to. Steve said he was staying with Natasha at the party. Do you want to stay here?" He whispered.

"No..but I really dont want to be alone at this point." She whispered.

He made her get up he hid the test evidence. He found her a t shirt to sleep in she laid beside him after he showered and hit the lights.

"You..you are having my baby." He whispered in the dark.

"Buck not now..please wait till we get the scary parts out of the way." She whispered.

"I know its just right now you have my baby in your belly." He whispered as he swallowed hard.

"Go to sleep."she whispered.

The next afternoon their families were sitting together at the Barnes household. Bucky was chewing the inside of his lip trying to find the words to say.

"Son you have to open your mouth. You called this meeting you and her.." James said

"First..I want to sincerly apologize." Bucky said

He took a deep breathe. "I slept with Sawyer over the summer. We would be so drunk and high that we wouldn't remember the next morning." Bucky said

"You slept with my sister! I specifically asked you to never go after my sister. And you Sawyer I made it a rule to never go after my friends." Steve said

"Let him finish Steven Grant.." Joe said

Bucky looked down. "She's pregnant.." he said in a low tone.

"Come again James Buchanan.." James said

He looked up at his dad. "She's pregnant..and for this Im very sorry. I took her with me to see Bradley. One of his friends told me where he was I needed a girl to be with me..so I took Sawyer. Thats the night we believe we may have concieved the baby.." Bucky said

"You took my sister to one of those fucking parties. You are suppose to be my best friend." Steve said

"Steve me and Bradley made sure she was not touched. I gave her one of the pills she threw it all up I swear to God I didnt let anyone hurt her. We left after we puked." Bucky said

"James it doesnt matter. She had no business being there neither did you." James said

"I just wanted to make sure he was okay dad. He is my brother and he made mistakes." He said

"Yeah he is your brother. The biggest mistake he made was dragging you down his dark hole with him. You barely made it out alive and unscathed. Now look at you following right in behind him with teen pregnancy. And I got news for you son in 7 months. Your ass is enlisting Im not going to have another son that drops out of high school or wants to party hard while leaving his baby mama to fend for her self." James said

"Dad please Im not Bradley dont make me enlist." He said with tears.

Sawyer looked down then walked out slamming doors. Sarah went after her "Sawyer Grace..what happened to you?" Sarah said

"It was an accident that kept happening. We were single and having fun. He asked for my help that weekend. He trusted me..and now I..Im pregnant by complete accident." She said

"Do you want to know how? Cause you missed your birth control appointment. You switched your birth control." Sarah said as Bucky came out to check on Sawyer.

"You both did this. A broken condom or unprotected you both made a baby. Sawyer I trusted you to go to the parties with Steve. You promised that you would be careful..now look at what you done." Sarah said

Sawyer looked down. "Its time you two learn to grow up..sex isnt a game or a hobby." James said from the garage.

She looked up at Bucky to see a black eye and a bloody nose. "Im so sorry." He whispered as he held her.
