"Jeju do is amazing!" Duk Gu exclaimed, as he walked beside Shin Ahyoung. "I came here with my family often when I was young. It's okay I guess." She shrugged with an electric fan in her hand.

"Shin Ahyoungs fashion is no joke. She looks like a supermodel." One boy whispered to another. "I don't get why she kept hanging out with that creep Duk Gu. Yah, he's so ugly, Shrek wanted his face back."

Duk Gu overheard them as he looked up at Shin Ahyoung. "Ahyoung, it's still weird you know? The way you kept hanging out with a loser like me. You can have tons of friends here and instead–"

"Hey, sometimes one friend worth dozens. And dozens worth none. I mean, when I grow up. People are not nice, and even if they are, most of them just want something from me. Not you though."

"You're different." She said licking her lips as Duk Gu looked up at her slightly.

"So stop complaining because I'm not going to leave even when you told me to." She scoffed. "Quit saying foolish things alright? You know I'd literally destroy someone if they talk shit about you." She balled her fist making him laugh.

"I know you will. Oh lord have mercy on people who did me dirty then." He joked causing Ahyoung to laugh slightly.

"Hey! Duk Gu! It's time to take a class picture!" One student called out. "See! And you're not a loner, theres one of your friends calling you right there." Ahyoung smiled.

Duk Gu spotted Gulmi in the crowd as he tried to hide his blush. "Alright, I'll be right back."

Ahyoung looked down at her love alarm to see 15 hearts floating on the screen. And just then it adds one. "Hey." A voice greeted her as she looked behind her.

"Sun Oh, hi. ." She trailed off. "What? Are you expecting Hye Young to show up or something?" He chuckled causing her cheeks to flush. "No I didn't." She scoffed.

She noticed two cans of soda as she smirked. "Are those for me?"

Sun Oh nodded as he gave away one soda. "I'm sorry for calling you selfish and pitiful." Sun Oh blurted out. "Can you please stop ignoring me? It really hurts you know?" He pouted giving her a sincere apology.

"That depends. Why did you call me selfish in the first place?" She raised her eyebrow. "Do you really want to know this?" Sun Oh asked licking his lips. "Because, Shin Ahyoung. . I'm jealous okay?"

"Look, I know you have this freakish boy love romance with yours truly Hye Youngi but its not my fault he's in love with me." She scoffed. "You are the most clueless girl I've ever met Shin Ahyoung." He laughed.

"I'm not jealous of you. I'm jealous of Hye Young. Because you happen to like him so much." He said looking down at his fingers. "Don't you dare say i–"

"I'm in love with you Shin Ahyoung. I know you're stil in love with Hye Young and that is fine. Who am I to get rid of a ten year crush? But I promise myself this. I'll make you ring your alarm for me." He smiled softly.

Shin Ahyoung paused. She was shocked at that statement. Who could've guessed that none other than Hwang Sun Oh could've had feelings for her.

"I– I don't know what to say." She stuttered.

"It's okay. You don't have to be pressured to like me back. I want you to like me willingly." He said taking her hands on his. "I want to do it without the app. I don't really care what you feel. As long as you're here by my side."

"Are you willing to make that happen, Ahyoung?" He asked.

Thats when he saw Hye Young coming towards them from the distance. And with that she let go of his hands immediately. "Let me think about it." She said walking towards Duk Gus class.

"Hey, I would like to borrow Duk Gu for a bit." She said having her hands on her hips. Her eyes met Gul Mis as she turned away. "Here he is. By the way Duk Gu, remember what we talked about." Some guy grinned having his arms around Duk Gu.

"What was that all about?" Ahyoung whispered to Duk Gu as they are away. "Oh, thats just Seung Jun. Apparently guys from my class are being such phonys now. They're asking me for your kakaotalk ID." He sighed.

"Well look at the brights side I guess? They're nice now?" She chuckled. "It's just not the same." Duk Gu said looking to the distance.

"Hwang Sun Oh told me he likes me." She said biting her lip. "Really? No way." Duk Gu gasped. "Yeah, and he was really serious about it too. He said he didn't care if I don't ring his love alarm."

"He said wants to do it without the app I mean how is that even possible? In an era like this? Is he out of his mind?" She chuckled.

"Thats actually good for Sun Oh. Who cares about the app huh? We don't know if you really liked Hye Young to begin with. I mean, Hye Young never downloaded the love app. What if you don't ring his alarm after all this time?" Duk Gu asked.

"And what if he didn't ring yours either. Give Sun Oh a chance." Duk Gu frowned.

The girl let out a long sigh as she kicked some rock on her way. #riprock

"Relationships are complicated. I miss those good old days when the only thing I have to worry about is what clothes I have to wear."

"Relationships are what makes us teens to begin with." Duk Gu muttered. "Let's just live through our supposed to be best years of our lives."

"My life has been nothing but grey and white before you came around, so Thank you. Ahyoung." Duk Gu smiled softly at her.

She returned it with a nod and a slight smile. "You don't thank someone for being your friend, it just happens."
