Chapter 5 — Please ring me

"Hey there." A girl approached Shin Ahyoung asked she looked up from her phone. "What do you want?" She asked showing no interest. "You're new here and I figured you still have no friends." She smiled slightly.

"No friends? Forgive me but I have friends, alright?" Ahyoung snarled at how rude the girls word can be. "Who are you to approach me anyway?"

"You have friends? Certainly you won't be sitting alone if you had one, I'm Kim Jang Go. It is nice to meet you." She let out her hand but Shin Ahyoung refused to shake them. That girl gives her the creep.

She get this feeling like how something is wrong with her.

"I've seen you a couple of times in the cafeteria, why haven't you introduced yourself sooner then? Is there something you want?" Ahyoung raised her eyebrow.

"Certainly. It's Kim Jojo."

Her name sounds so hurtful in Ahyoungs ear. It sends her heart to ache a bit. Ahyoung smiled swallowing a lump in her throat. "What about her?" She asked crossing her arm.

"She's getting on my last nerves lately, she kept flirting with every guy she laid her eyes on, first it was Ilsik then after she broke up with him she started playing with Lee Hye Young and Hwang Sun Oh."

"Both of them? Even Sun Oh?" Ahyoung asked curiously. "Oh yes, that girl is famous for being a sly fox. She lures guys in with all her innocent look but in reality she's just a two faced snake. And that girl is a compulsive liar."

Ahyoung chuckled. "You seem to be obsessed with this girl? Whats wrong? Did she stole your boyfriend at any chance? What did she do to get you on your bad side?"

"Well, you could say she ruined our friendship with this one guy, I'm telling you people hate her and even Gul Mi gave her a piece of her mind before you transferred here and I think she hasn't get the gist."

"She needs to be told off with someone like you, maybe that'll change her for good. Think about it." Jang Go said smiling.

"Thank you but no, I know she might be ticking you off but you're not using me to get back at her. But thanks for the heads up and maybe I will confront her if the things you said happens to be true." Ahyoung said smiling sitting up from her chair.

"I'll see you later."

"Duk Gu. Where are you? Did you come to school today? Please call me back as soon as possi– oof!" Ahyoung bumped into someone. "Who in the world?"

"Hey Ahyoung." It was none other than Sun Oh who was giving her his million dollar smile. The smile he used to melt girls and get inside their hearts.

"What do you want Sun Oh?" She asked crossing her arms. "I convinced Hye Young to download love alarm." He said as the girl squealed. "Did you really mean that?? I thought he's not downloading." She asked.

"Well he was but he kinda lost a bet, he sucks at fifa. I don't even know what you see in him, and Hye Young is a man who keeps his words so. ." Sun Oh chuckled. "There you go and what no thank yous or–"

Just then the girl embraces him. "Oh thank you! Sun Oh! I really appreciate you being a wingman."

Sun Oh chuckled slightly before hugging her back. "You're welcome now go and find your prince charming you weirdo."

"A weirdo? Excuse me?"

"Well you kept hanging out with Duk Gu." Sun Oh said raising his shoulders. "Hey! He's actually a genuinely nice person!" She pouted.

"And I'm not?" Sun Oh asked. "Well people like you always expects something in return. Why are you even being so nice to me all of the sudden? Again, a random act of generosity." She rolled her eyes.

"Because, Shin Ahyoung you're a good person." Sun Oh stated leaning against the wall. "No I'm not. You don't know me." She snickered crossing her arm. "Keep denying. I know when I see one. I'm too familiar with it."

"By the way, theres Hye Young now!" Sun Oh exclaimed pointing at the boy who was clearly running the other way. "Yah! Hye Youngi!" She exclaimed. "Hey! Don't yell his name Ahyoung, clearly he's trying to avoid you all day."

"Hye Young wait!" The girl chased him with Sun Oh following behind the reckless girl. "I just wanted to test you out!" That sounded ambiguous but she didn't care.

She wanted to know how he really felt about her. And during the chase another girl stepped out to the hall clearly trying to reach the toilet. And just then Hye Young paused as they came across Kim Jojo.

"Ah, you scared me." Kim Jojo said looking slightly at them. Maybe they looked crazy by now but Ahyoung didn't care. Just then they heard a buzz from Kim Jojos pocket.

And from Hye Youngs pocket. Ahyoung checked her love alarm and she didn't receive any. "Yah, whats the meaning of this? Is this thing broken?" She chuckled slowly shaking her phone.

"Ahyoung." Sun Oh frowned touching her shoulder slightly. "This can't be. You said you love me Hye Youngi. So why did you ring hers? I clearly rang yours." Tears began to form around her eyes.

"Please love me back, Hye Youngi. Please ring my alarm." She cried running the other way.

Her world felt like it was crumbling around her. The only reason she came back to Korea was Hye Young. She's only back because Hye Young promised her to marry her one day.

How can they marry if they don't even love each other back?

So why is she back? Who is she expecting? Who is expecting her? That doesn't matter. All she wanted now was to disappear.

Whats the point of being beautiful but the person you love doesn't think you are.

And in her desperation she was embraced by a familiar scent of cologne and arm around her. "Please don't be sad Shin Ahyoung, I'm here for you."
