Chapter 8 — Rebirth of a queen

"Ahyoung." Hye Young said as Ahyoung approached her. Hye Youngs phone suddenly rang. "Yes?" Ahyoung said completely ticked off by the sound of his alarm.

"I brought you chocolates. I figured it was your recital today, you know I wouldn't miss it." He smiled softly. Ahyoung nodded thank you receiving the gifts.

"Ahyoung, I'm trying to move on from Jojo. I know this might sound pitiful but I was wondering if you can help me, move on." He said awkwardly. "I really want to learn to love you."

Ahyoung sighed and took his hand. "Love cannot be forced Hye Youngi. I don't want to burden you, I'm not expecting you to love me back. I've been thinking lately and my actions are unforgivable."

"I have nothing against Kim Jojo anymore. Because I also want to move on from you." She said turning slightly to Sun Oh. He noticed her and gave her a small smile.

Hye Young noticed the incident and frowned. "Well then. If that'll make you happy. We can still be friends after this." He smiled caressing her head. "Oh please Hye Youngi, don't make this harder for me." She blushed.

"Hye Young. I see you you came to Ahyoungs recital." Sun Oh said walking up to them. "You too." Hye Young said.

He looked around them to see people whispering. "Who is that guy beside Shin Ahyoung? He's so handsome! It's like a match made in heaven."

"That guy beside Shin Ahyoung looks familiar, or is that Mimis son?"

"Shin Ahyoung came with a date! Look I told you to ask her out sooner, now she has a boyfriend, dude!"

"By the way who is that other guy beside them. He's such an eyesore. Probably her butler." One of them chuckled.

Hye Young glanced at his two best friends be looking like supermodels and ulzzangs. But he guessed that doesn't apply to himself.

"We're going to get chicken after this. Do you wanna come?" Sun Oh asked as the man sighed. "I have work to do. You guys go ahead."

"Yah, all you do is work work work." She pouted. "You're no fun, Hye Young." Thats the first time she called her that and to be honest Hye Young felt pain.

Hye Young knew she was always aware of his busy schedule but now she's hanging out with Hwang Sun Oh who doesn't even need to lift a finger in all his life sums it all up.

"Are you sure you're not going to get chicken with us?" Sun Oh asked. "Yeah, you two go ahead." He smiled.

He wouldn't want to come between two love birds anyway.

"Hey, is Hwang Sun Oh and Shin Ahyoung dating? They seemed closer than ever." A person asked Gul Mi. "Don't you think they're adorable? They're both pretty and rich." Another swooned.

Gul Mi just sat there as she listened to what her friends gotta say about them. "They're not cute. Sun Oh is better off with me anyway." She mumbled the last part.

Gul Mi always had this little crush against Sun Oh. He was just so charming in Gul Mis eyes. And now seeing him with Shin Ahyoung like that? It's heartbreaking.

But Gul Mi knew better than to stand against the so called ice queen. Shin Ahyoung is on another level. She doesn't want to give up without a fight. So she thought of something that could make everyone turn against her.

She decided to make a rumor about her.

She made up a story where Shin Ahyoung is two timing Sun Oh with Hye Young. And for quite a while, people believed her. "Are you serious? Shin Ahyoung is like that? Well she did declare her love for Hye Young and now she's seeing Sun Oh."

"That is quite shallow." People chuckled. "And how desperate is Sun Oh? Its just pitiful." Another girl chuckled.

"What is pitiful?" Sun Oh asked walking on the girls who were gossiping. "Uh no, Gul Mi said–"

"Oh so it's Gul Mi who was spreading that nasty rumor about Shin Ahyoung, well hear me out. She's not like that." Sun Oh declared as he stomped furiously trying to find the auburn haired girl.

"Gul Mi. Yah! We need to talk!" Sun Oh exclaimed. Gul Mi gulped as she nodded following Sun Oh to a rather quite place. "I heard that you're spreading rumors about Shin Ahyoung."

"This has to stop." Sun Oh gritted his teeth. "Sun Oh I like you. I never stopped liking you." Gul Mi said with tears flowing down her eyes. "First it was Kim Jojo and now her, why do you keep toying with me?"

"I'm not toying you, I simply just don't like you nor Jojo or anyone! Just, leave her alone. She doesn't deserve to be treated that way." Sun Oh frowned.

"You have no idea how ruthless she can be. She walks around like she owns the place and its ticking me off, actually you both are." Gul Mi sniffled wiping her tears away.

"What a perfect couple." She said sarcastically.

"Sun Oh. Actually. You don't need to do that for me. I don't listen to rumors. It was all made by Gul Mis group of hooligans anyway." Came Shin Ahyoung leaning against the wall.

"I'm sorry for eavesdropping but Duk Gu said that you two are here and I figured, I should follow you two and honestly. This doesn't surprise me Gul Mi."

"You're the ickiest person I've ever met besides that glasses girl so piss off parasite. And oh, you maybe scared the shit out off Kim Jojo but you don't scare me. Not a single bit and I advice you to do the opposite." Ahyoung said walking closer to Gul Mi.

"Fear me."

Sun Oh was now smiling like a proud mother hen that he is. "Lets go Sun Oh." Ahyoung walked away as Sun Oh catches up to her.

"So you don't need a saving after all." Sun Oh said. "Oh please, gossips like that doesn't scare me. People accused me of murder when I was at the states and yeah New York is quite of a city." She winked.
