Rouge x Reader part 1

Year x790

Third person

It started like any other day. Sting ran up to Rouge and informed him about a guild that hunts dragons. Lector was sure of Sting and Rouge removing this guild from existence. Frosh thought so too.

Rouge sighed. "Dragons don't live in this era anymore. You and I both know that." He spoke harshly. Sting threw his arm around his neck. "I must have forgotten to say that I found a dragon myself."

Lector nods to ensure his word. "It's true. This dragon, as Sting-kun says, an ancient dragon." He said.

Rouge's eyes widened. "What?" He looked over his shoulder and dragged Sting outside the hall. "Tell me."

"I knew that would peek your interest." Sting said. Rouge glared at him. "Ok. Ok, first off this girl isn't exactly a dragon. She is human but a dragon."

"So how is this girl a dragon?"

"Easy. Because I'm over 400 years old." You spoke as you see both twin dragons walk out the guild. They both look up and see you sitting on a boulder. "Good to see you again, White dragon."

"You could call me by my name too." Sting spoke. Though he didn't mind what he was called by anyway. Rouge just stared at you. He then caught your scent and still couldn't believe it.

Frosh walked up to you. He waved at you and you smiled at him. "Such a cute little frog." Even you knew he was really a cat. Lector smiled that Frosh made another friend. "Do you still doubt I'm a dragon, Shadow?"

"Name's Rouge." He spoke harshly. "Sorry, Shadow. Anyway, do you both want to have a sparing match with me? No winners just a fair training."

Sting nods. "I would love that. Rouge?"

Rouge shrugged. But glared as you said shadow again and not his name.

You all got to the perfect spot. No one could see or hear the commotion. "Alright. I want you boys to try and knock me off my feet. Throw me your full power. I want to see what the strongest guild can do." You said at the twin dragons.

-Timeskip-

Both Sting and Rouge were out of magic. Lector was shocked as was Frosh. You walked up to the two and pat their heads. "Bravo. But you will never caught up to Natsu or Gajeel." You went off until a single arrow brings you to your knees.

Rouge looked up stunned. How is that possible? Could it be-? Rouge pushed aside the thought and stood up. Though he was almost fresh out of his magic, he had to help you. Sting also rose to his feet.

Sting could see you were in pain, more than last time. "Hell ya! A poison arrow for you, dragon!" You turned your head, desperate to take the arrow out of your shoulder. Lector and Frosh helped you pull the arrow, slowly but surely.

Sting and Rouge stood in front of you. Ready to face off against the dragon hunter guild. Just before the two could attack, you rose to your feet and quickly push both dragon slayers to the ground. Another arrow zips passes over them and hit directly in the heart of one guy. "T-thanks." Both said.

You nod with a weak smile. Lector and Frosh hid behind a giant boulder. They were able to help you remove the arrow from your right shoulder. Rouge leaned you on a rock close by. Then stared at the men.

"Rouge, let's get rid of them at once."

"Good luck." You weakly said.

Rouge smiled. He went to Sting's side. Back to back with his fellow dragon slayer, they both used their roar.

"WHITE DRAGON ROAR!"

"SHADOW DRAGON ROAR!"

A stream on white light came from Sting, removing the only three left as a stream on almost see through shadows took out the final man.

As that ended, you rose to your feet. "Thank you. Now I really owe a debt to Weisslogia." You chuckle softly.

Sting was stunned. "You knew Weisslogia?" You nod to his question. "He saved my life more than I could count. And Skiadrum, in which his debt is paid."

"How exactly?" Rouge asks. "Simple. He owed me for saving his life and you, his son, paid his debt." You told Rouge, still not using his actual name yet.

A feeling came over Rouge. He felt something wasn't right, like something was pinching or poking somewhere in the back. You were about to depart until Rouge looked at Sting. "What?" Rouge acted quickly. He ran and caught you in his arms just before you collapsed. "P-Porlyusica..."

"Whose that?" Sting wondered. You held up something with her scent on it. "Follow this to....the forest...." Your eyes shut and Rouge felt your skin was changing color on the right shoulder. "Let's go, Sting."

-skipping the journey-

At the doorstep to Porlyusica's home, Lector knocks on the door. She opens it and looks at the two dragon slayers. "Please. Can you take care of her? She got poisoned and -" Rouge was cut off when she raised her hand. "Bring her in." Rouge went in and Sting followed. Lector and Frosh walked in too. Rouge laid you on the bed as Porlyusica began to examine you.

Once she was done, Frosh placed a single white rose next to the bed. "Get better soon." Lector said. "Fro wishes too." Sting left the room and waited for Rouge. "You felt her pain, didn't you?" Porlyusica said.

"Yes but I don't know why." Rouge said. "That's because the shadow dragon power you wield came from the moon's dark side. You and she are connected by the shadows." Rouge had a hard time believing but he nods.

After thanking her, the twin dragons departed for home. "You sure are making lots a friends, Luna." Porlyusica said to the dragon spirit residing in your soul.
