Chapter Nineteen

Year x791

You walked through the doors of fairy tail, the second building. Romeo was the first to greet you, but everyone else turned away. They hated you for being the only survivor from the island. You tried to explain the situation on exactly what happened, but no one listened.

Macao glanced at you. "Did you finish the jobs?" He spoke in hush tone or maybe it was a disappointed tone.

"Yes. But the reward wasn't enough to-"

Macao slammed his hand on the table. "Then what should we do about the next payment! We can barely make ends meat!" He yelled. You turned away from him. "I've done my best to keep the guilds spirit alive. And you all think that Natsu and everyone is gone. Romeo and I are the only ones who do believe they are alive." You stormed out of the building just to be greeted by a few members of twilight ogre.

"Oh look. A stray fairy has come to greet us." One laughed. You glared at them. "You best get out of my way or else!"

"Or else what? You'll charm us to death?" Another member laughed. You grabbed his shirt and punched him far into the middle of town. "Anyone else wanna tick me off?"

The other fled the place shouting, "You'll pay for this!" You huffed. You were already pissed to begin with and to make matters worse, the blue pegasus guild showed up. Ren, Hibiki, and Eve all stayed away from you. They could feel your anger from where they stood. You smiled that they kept distance, yet sad as it was, you couldn't greet them like your normal cheerful self.

As they talked with Macao, you departed from the guild grounds and went into town. You felt it was time for everyone to return home. Once you reached the docks, Bisca came up to you. "You want to come help find Tenrou Island?"

You smiled. "Let me guess, Hibiki said that Tenrou island still exists?" Bisca nods. You were glad to board the ship and thus begun the search once again.

Jet and Droy were jumping for joy that they could see Levy again. Bisca, of course, ruined the mood saying they may not be alive. Prepare for the worst even though you knew they were alive and well. Alzack then sees a girl. You smiled thinking, about time. You knew it was Mavis lifting the spell she castes with the others help. Suddenly, Tenrou island was back where it was.

Once on the shores, Jet hurried after the girl only to see Natsu. The little reunion seemed longer than planed. Mavis motioned you to follow her. "There's something I've been wanting to ask you."

"And what would that something be, Mavis?" You asked.

"How is it that you haven aged in centuries?" You chuckled. Figures she forgotten of who I am exactly. "Mavis, did you forget that I am a dragon? The special one?"

Mavis smiled. "Nope. I just wanted to make sure you weren't hiding again. But the actual thing I wanted to ask is..." She whispered in your ear. Your eyes widen by what she asked. It also left you speechless. Mavis thought you might be unable to answer it. "Let me know when you find the answer."

You nod. Makarov was glad to have been saved by the first master.

Back at the guild hall

Twilight ogre came back seeking the months payment. "I thought we had agreed for next month." Macao said.

"Yea we but our boss didn't. We let you fairies of the hook once, now pay us what you owe!" Before the guy could step anymiore, someone behind him sent him flying. Everyone looked to see Natsu's smiling face. And at long last, Fairy Tail was a whole again. Members of the Lamia Scale guild came to welcome the return of the tenrou team.

You walked outside, away from the party. Sure you were happy and thrilled to see everyone again after seven years. But to you if felt much longer than that. Almost as if a full century passed by.

Erza and the other girls that lived in fairy hills had to pay a lot of jewel, which you paid for them. And thus pissing off Macao off even more. Makarov wonder what happened during their absent. Max explained to him that you were the only one able to go on the higher paying jobs but Macao kept pestering you to help them pay twilight ogre. Makarov felt bad of how much you had to endure.

Jura came up to Makarov and handed him a letter. Once he read it, joy filled his face. You were placed into the ten wizard saints. But he remained silent on this joyous news.

Back outside, you were laying under a tree in the middle of the night now. "Hey, you'll catch a cold if you stay out here too long."

"Says the man who strips every day." you laughed when Gray stood beside you. He quickly regained his clothes on. "I heard you've had it ruff since we've been gone."

"You think? It's been hell! First a dark guild attacks me out of the blue. Then find out another dark guild has an ancient weapon that was supposed to long gone." You were about to keep going, but refused.

Gray sighed. "Hey. Come on. I know what will cheer you up." He grabbed your arm and drags you down passed the town and into an abandoned building. "Ice make: floor!" He stomped his foot to the ground and the entire floor turned to ice. You smiled a little at he way to cheer you up.

A/n: Sorry for a little late update. Was trying to get rid of a writers block. I think it's gone now, so I will update faster, hopefully.
