Natsu x Reader Special

Halloween Fright Feast

Natsu's POV

It's that time of year again. Halloween, the most frightful time of any season. I have to admit, it is one of my favorites. I have a little plan for a special someone in our guild. Rumor has she isn't scared of anything and I'm going to be the first of scare the pants off of (y/n)! This is gonna be a blast!

"Oi, Natsu. Quit daydreaming and let's go. We still have a mission to complete." (Y/n) called to me. "I'm coming." I ran up to her. I looked at Happy, curled up in her arms fast asleep. Must be nice to sleep.

-skipping travel time-

At the location of the mission, we were supposed to inspect the woods near by. The mission was said that a strange fog rolls in and a lot of the food and jewelry mysteriously vanishes. This was the best place to scare her.

Unfortunately, the fog only rolls in at night. We wondered through town for some food. Happy was still sleeping in (y/n)'s arms. She didn't seem to mind much. I smiled at a single thought.

"What are you smiling about, Natsu?" She asked.

"I was just think of how a wonderful mother you will be one day." I rested my head on my hand.

She blushed a lights pink. "Oh stop. That's embarrassing to say."

As nighttime fell, we both went into the forest yet close enough to the entrance as possible. The fog came to our ankles as it passed us. "Be careful. We don't know what's in this forest or who." (Y/n) spoke. She didn't look the slightest bit scared.

This is gonna be harder than I thought. I thought, trying to make a plan in scaring her. Happy woke to the smell of fish and slowly flew in deeper to the forest. "Happy!" We both ran after him. The fog got thicker the further we went. Suddenly, I lost (y/n). "(Y/n)! Where are you? Happy!?" I called to both of them. Silence. Absolute silence. Now I was more worried. This fog was messing up my sense of smell. I traced my steps back and found the entrance, oddly enough.

Meanwhile

Your POV

I was lost. Just a second ago, Natsu was at my side and Happy still sleeping. Now they are both gone. "Gone..." The memories I had of all my friends and family before Fairy tail rushed back. It hurt knowing I can let those feelings go. "Natsu! Happy? Answer me!" I shouted. Nothing. Just owls who-ing. I'm scared. I'm alone.

I sat under a tree, not knowing which way was the right way. I didn't know if this was the best option right now, but I couldn't help but feel...sleepy.

On the other side of the forest

Natsu's POV

I tried everything to call out to (y/n) but not a single sound was heard. Not even the animals living in this forest made a sound. "This isn't good. I bet someone's behind this."

"You will be correct, dragon slayer." A voice spoke.

"Who the heck are you?" I yelled out. The man laughed. "No need to shout, dear boy. I'm hear to guide you out of this forest, but at a price."

"Oh yeah? And what would that be?" I spoke, worried about the second rumors that were listed on the job.

"To leave this forest alive you must give something up. You came here with three people. Yourself, a cat and a female, is that correct?"

"Yea, so what."

"You may choose only one to return with you and the other will be lost forever. You have an hour to decide." The voice vanished before I could locate his position. "Dammit! I can leave either of them here. They're family." I cursed under my breath.

A/n: Okay, so this two part chapter was supposed to get posted yesterday on Halloween, but I had to go trick or treating. And well, I totally forgot bout this special chapter.
