I walk to the family day and see a few people here including the VK's. "(Y/N)!" Sadie called me "Hey Sadie! Let's do the song!" I said Michaela, Sadie and I go up on the stage. I glance at Carlos for a second. He has a smile on his face.

(You and Ben) Be our guest Everyone clapped and cheered. I smiled and hopped off the stage towards my parents. "That was wonderful kids." My father said "Thanks, daddy!" I exclaimed "Come on we need a photo!" My mother says We walk in front of the camera. "Oh, (Y/N) has a boyfriend and I have a new girlfriend!" Ben said "Well, I never wanted to say anything, but I always thought that Audrey was a little self-absorbed. A fake smile, kind of a kiss-up." Dad said "When will we meet them?" My mum asked "They're here right now." I said "Mal, Carlos!" Ben yelled My parents stood there frozen. I walked over to Carlos and grabbed his hand. "Mother, this is Carlos, Cruella's son. As you know..." I smiled
"I was thinking maybe they can join us for lunch." Ben asked "Of... course. Any friend of Ben's..." mum stammered "Um, we actually came with our friends." Mal smiled "Well, you should invite them." Father spoke "Because the more the merrier!" Mum exclaimed "Yeah, I'll go grab them." Carlos said "Uh, how about a game of croquet before lunch?" Dad asked us "Huh? Of course." I answered "Game on." "Game on." Ben smiled "Have you played before?" I asked Carlos "No." He replied "No? You'll be fine." I reassured him
I took Carlos to the Croquet area where all the families were. I held the stick in my hands showing him how to play. "So you hold the stick thing like this, and position yourself like this." I said "Okay. Then what do I do?" He asked "Then just smack the ball." I smacked the ball and it rolled across the field into the goal thing. "I win." I laughed All of a sudden I heard a shout. "You!" I ran over to see Mal and Queen Leah exchanging looks. "How are you here? And how have you stayed so young?" She asks "Queen leah, It's okay. Maleficent is still on the island." Ben reassures her "This is her daughter, Mal." I continue "Don't you remember our proclamation to give the new generation a chance?" Ben replied "A chance to what, Ben and (Y/N)? Destroy us?Come on. You remember, don't you?" Queen Leah rambled "The poison apples. And the spells." "Yes but that was their parents~" I reply "What do you think villains teach their kids, (Y/N)? How to be bad!" Queen Leah shouted I jump back. Then Chad came over. "Go away! Stay away from her!" Chad yelled "Don't do this Chad." I step forward so me and him are face to face. "You stole another girls boyfriend!" Chad said pointing at Mal "You enjoy hurting people!" He pointed to Jay "You're nothing but a gold digger and a cheater." He said to Evie "And you... you're only dating (Y/N) because she's royalty. Well guess what? She's nothing but a coward." Chad shouted I slapped him round the face and ran off crying.
Bens PoV "You stole another girls boyfriend!" Chad said pointing at Mal "You enjoy hurting people!" He pointed to Jay "You're nothing but a gold digger and a cheater." He said to Evie "And you... you're only dating (Y/N) because she's royalty. Well guess what? She's nothing but a coward." Chad shouted (Y/N) slapped him round the face and ran off crying. "Chad that's enough!" I yell furious "How dare you insult my twin sister! And the princess of Auradon!" Then Evie walked up to Chad "Mirror mirror in my hand, who's the biggest jerk in the land?" Evie spoke into the mirror It showed Chads reflection. I nudged Carlos. "Guys, c'mon we need to go find (Y/N)." Carlos whispered They all looked at each other and ran off but Evie grabbed a perfume bottle and sprayed Chad so that he fell asleep.
Your POV I ran as far away from the scene as I could. Stopping at the fountain just outside of school and I collapse beside it bursting into tears. He's right. I'm nothing but a coward. I'm never gonna be good enough to be considered as royalty. "(Y/N)?" Carlos whispered "L-leave me a-alone. P-please." I cried Carlos kneeled down and lifted my chin up. "Please just let us stay for a while." Carlos pleaded I nodded and hugged him tightly. The VK's sat down beside us. I let go of Carlos and looked at the group. "I'm so sorry for what happened back there. I didn't expect for Queen Leah to talk to anyone besides Audrey. It's all my fault." I apologise "No it's not your fault, (Y/N/N). Nobody knew what was going to happen." Evie replied "I just wish that everyone would stop thinking so bad about you guys. Your actually all really sweet." I held Carlos' hand and looked at him He kissed my forehead. "Well, I'm going to head back to my dorm to calm down. I'll see you guys soon." I stand up "Bye, princess." Carlos hugged me I waved goodbye to the VK's returning to my dorm.
Mal's PoV "Okay, so now that she's gone. Let's discuss the coronation." I said "So Carlos and I will be up front whilst you two will be up on the balcony." I pointed to Evie and Jay. "Where will the wand be?" Carlos asks "It'll be up on the dais under the beast's spell jar." I reply "Okay, so I'll find our limo, so we can break the barrier, and, uh, get back on the island with the wand." Jay recalled "Perfect. Evie?" "Yeah?" "You will use this to take out the driver. Two sprays and he'll be out like a light." I say "Okay." I open my spell book looking for a spell "M?" Carlos asks "You want to break Ben and (Y/N's) love spell?" Jay spoke "Yeah. You know, for after. I don't... I've just been thinking, you know, when the villains finally do invade Auradon, and begin to loot and kick everyone out of their castles and imprison their leaders and destroy all that is good and beautiful, Ben and (Y/N) still being in love with me and Carlos just seems a little extra... cruel." I reply shrugging Carlos sighs.
"I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. Let's grab that wand and blow this Popsicle stand."
