EP 5: The truth

'Felix..?'

Felix, who sat on the sofa stood up fast staring at me with big eyes.

'Alex...' his eyes filled up with tears and he ran to me, embracing my skinny body in a tight hug. It was like a dream, this was all that I could think about for weeks, Am I dead? I slowly raised my arms and hugged him back, feeling the tears run down my cheeks. I heard others whispering in wonder, but it sounded like they were smiling.

'How are you even alive? What happened? Have you seen mom and dad? Or either one? Wait, you're probably hungry, come on, I'll get you something to eat' He took his arm around my shoulder and led me to the kitchen and I could see that he was in shock. I barely could say anything myself. While we ate in the kitchen, I told him all of it, even about what happened with Chan. He nodded silently while looking down.

'Don't think about it now, you're safe, we're back together and I'll take care of you, you know that? I'm your big brother after all.' He smiled.

'Only by two minutes!' I couldn't help myself, back when everything was normal, he acted like he was so much smarter than me just because he was born first. Felix laughed at that and that reminded me of the old times when we used to fight over small things like that. But he was someone I wouldn't trade for world. He was my best friend, brother and right now, the only one I have left. He just messed my hair up and smiled warmly to me.

'It's so good to have you back Lex' I smiled back getting teary again.

'It's good to have you back too Lix'. I heard a knock and we both looked at the doorway, where Jisung stood.

'So are you guys gonna tell us what's going on? Everyone's confused, are you dating or what's going on? Not that anyone asked...' he trailed off quietly looking a bit away in thought. Felix and I looked at each other quietly and then burst out laughing. I saw the rest of the guys crowd behind Jisung wondering what's happening.

'Him?? That dork? Are you seriou-'

'Her?? That weirdo? Jisung what the he-'

We both said that the same time while trying to breath, since it was hard when laughing our asses off. Then I saw one guy make a face that said 'ooh, now I get it' and nodded to himself and smiled while looking at us.

'No that would never happen, and anyways, she's my little sister!' Said Felix still laughing and I saw the guys finally understand. Someone asked by how much he was older and everyone got a bit shocked when we said 'Two minutes' in unison.

'Come to think of it, you really do look quite alike to be honest, even the freckles' laughed Jisung nodding and the rest agreed. Except for Chan. He was in the back of the crowd. I felt myself getting a bit sad cause I didn't understand what had happened. I thought we had a moment back then, I truly believed it, and now he's not even talking to me. I think Felix noticed that and put an arm around my shoulders like saying 'don't think about it right now, we'll find something out later'.

Later that night we all sat in the living room and everyone was asking me and Felix questions about our life before all this. I got introduced to everyone by Felix, and I found out that the guy who was really welcoming when I arrived was named Hyunjin. He was really nice and as it got late, me, Felix, Hyunjin, Jisung, Chanbin and Chan were still sitting by the candle still talking. I didn't even know why Chan was there, he didn't say a word.

'So how did you get separated from each other if you went to same university?' asked Hyunjin.

'Well me, Chan and Changbin were in the same class when the hell broke lose. We were sitting in Chan's car ready to drive when we heard the military alarm go off. Many helicopters flew over us and when we saw what was happening, we drove as long as we could. I knew that Alex was left behind, but I got a message from dad that he was gonna go get her so I thought that everything would be fine. Our dad works in the military and he was at the scene. After a few weeks we started to look for a place we could stay at that was safe. We found this place and started gathering as many resources as possible. One by one, we found these guys. They were all in quite a big trouble but we managed to save them...' he drifted off and you saw that Chan was looking down having a tear fall down his cheek, while the rest were really sad.
