xv. trouble

Steph is in her room getting ready to attend a Fiji party. She has a white see-through crop top on, as well as camouflage jeans and converse on. She does her makeup and puts on giant hoops. She ties her hair up into a slick bun. She grabs her wallet and puts it in her jean pockets.

Her phone vibrates with a text from Cole.

From: Cole 🇺🇸🏒

We're outside

To: Cole 🇺🇸🏒

Okay be outside in a second

She grabs her things and leaves the room. She leaves the dorm and makes her way over to Brock's car. She hops into the back and greets Brock, Cole, Alex, and Owen. 

"Ready for the Fiji party?" Alex asks, bumping his shoulder with hers.

"Yeah, I heard they're wilder than Theta Chi. Is that true?" she asks.

"From what I've heard, yes," he informs her.

"Sounds like I'll have a good time then," she smiles.

She lets the sounds of Goodbyes by Post Malone Ft. Young Thug fill her eardrums as they make their short drive to the Fiji House. They arrive there after 5 minutes and park down the block. They hear the music thumping and the sound of people coming in and out of the house. They walk inside the house and go straight to the kitchen to grab some drinks. Brock is once again one of the designated drivers and sticks to soda, while everyone else gets beer from a keg.

The song Baby Sitter by DaBaby Ft Offset is playing through the speakers and Steph starts bobbing her head to the song.

"Look who finally made it!" she hears a voice say.

She turns to the direction of the voice and sees K'Andre walking up to her.

"You know I gotta be fashionably late," she teases, taking a swig of beer.

"Yeah yeah yeah, whatever you say. Anyway, have you talked to Cole?" he asks.

"Oh my god, can you drop the whole Cole and me thing? It's not gonna happen," she groans, taking a swig of her beer.

"Fine, I won't mention it ever again," he replies.

"Steph, I need you to be my beer pong partner!" Cole begs, coming up to her.

"Alright, I'll see you around," she says to K'Andre.

Cole practically drags her to the table outside and they end up facing off against Alex and Owen. Cole and Steph annihilate Alex and Owen and Cole and Steph hug each other in celebration.

"How are you so good at this?" he asks, as they walk back into the house.

"I don't know. I guess you can say I'm a woman of many talents," she replies, as she drags him to the kitchen.

"Oh I know," he adds cheekily, causing her to blush as she thinks about all the times they hooked up.

Meanwhile, Alex finds K'Andre and pulls him aside.

"Bro, we need to find a way to get Cole and Steph to admit their feelings to each other already. I'm tired of seeing them pine over each other from afar," Alex informs him.

"Tell me about it! I keep trying to convince her to tell him but she's too stubborn," he adds.

"Same thing with Cole. We need to find a way to get them together and we need to bring the others into it," Alex adds.
