Hope/Road

I hope, oh I hope
For the calmness of communion
For the inferno of hell fires
For that perfect second, from before to after

I hope, I sure hope
For the battles I've won, triumphantly
For the hardships of tomorrow, ever greater foes
For this life of conflict and glory

I hope, as I only can hope
For my worst and better to fall in love
For there's a silence I'll learn to hear
For there's beauty in me, after all

I hope,  well I hope
For my neck to never broke
For I could be hanging from a rope
So I can never let myself go

But there's hope,  there's always hope
For my thoughts are now my actions
For I was full of patience and determination
And now my eyes can finally see again
