The beast in the distant land

They run,  they hide, eat and die
Beautiful, wild,  soft as well as shy
The essential essence of this world
Their timeless majesty can't get old
Here are the beasts of a distant land

Fur, scales, claws and fins, differenciation
Nature twisted by such long evolution
A long time ago we were all the same
Now we locked them up, what a shame
Here lies the beasts of a distant land

Question yourself, where does it lie?
This tiny difference, this twist of some kind
That gave us the right to take their freedom
To take them, and eat them, destroy their home

This distant land
Theses beast of nature
They come from the earth
The one thing that we should nurture
