I really didn't know what to do, so I squeaked out "Thank you."

With that I scurried off to where my locker was. I was still a little in shock by the fact he opened the door for me. I know it's stupid, but he has been my crush since I was 13, and he has never done more than looked or laughed at me.

By the time it was 4th hour I had pretty much forgotten about this morning. Well, I had, until Matt walked in. He always looked perfect. His hair was perfectly spiked up, his skinny jeans not too tight and his bro tank a little smug, showing off his toned body. I couldn't help but stare, but I knew not to stare to long or he would notice. He then started to approach me and took his seat next to me, even though his friends were across the room, what? I felt my heart race faster and faster every minute he sat there.

I was always the girl to get straight A's and the girl who focused on school more than being social but Matt on the other hand was the reckless teenager, always partying and never gave two shits about school. And everyone in the school knew that about him. Just when that thought slipped through my mind, Matt leaned towards me.

"Hey, can you help me with this?" He whispered. When did Matt care about school?

I leaned towards him and whispered back "Sure."

So, pretty much the whole class Matt and I talked while I helped him with work.

As much as I didn't want it to, the bell rang. I gathered up my stuff and ran out the door, not wanting to be late for lunch. I heard someone yelling my name from behind, I ignored it at first, but I eventually turned around and saw Matt running up to me.

"Hey" he said catching his breath.

"Hey" I laughed.

"So, I just wanted to thank you for helping me." Matt proclaimed

"No problem" I said, trying not to sound shaky.

I turned to face Matt, "Quick question, when did you start worrying about school?"

He smiled when he looked at me.

"Since my football coach said if I didn't get my grades up I wouldn't be able to do football next year, it sucks but I have to."

I just nodded "Ahh I see."

We then parted and walked off to lunch.

After I got my lunch, I went to sit down at my usual table when a hand grabbed my wrist.

Omg, sorry these are short. They looked longer on Microsoft Word 😔
