Kuroo Tetsuro x Reader

☾ 2 ☾

I woke up wanting to die for a fair 15 minutes. Not because I really wanted to die but because I just didn't want to get up, or do anything in general. It was too early to function properly and the only thing I really felt like doing was laying on my bed to the nonexistence. But after the alarm rang for the third time I slapped myself internally, hoping to wake up something more. 

After getting ready and taking something to eat on my way to school I finally left my home, really hoping not to get lost and arrive late which knowing myself wouldn't be a surprise.

As I was walking to my new high school I was really trying hard to just focus on the music of my headphones instead of thinking about all the bad things that could happen and all the things I'd have to do that would most likely provoke me anxiety. And surprisingly, it was working. 

Through the first half of my way to Nekoma High I, surprisingly, didn't bump into anyone with the uniform, so I still didn't have the need to process what was about to come. However, it all changed as I started to get closer. More students with my uniform started to head the same direction as me and I couldn't help but think how everyone already had their own group of friends. 'It's not like you were going to make good friends anyways, dumbass ' I sighed to myself. 

Once I finally got to the school I was relieved to know I wasn't late, but unluckily, I couldn't say the same for the actual classroom. Nekoma High wasn't that big, but I was tired because I hadn't had a decent sleep because of last night's encounter with Kuroo, and I also was a bit oblivious myself so that's how I ended up knocking on the door of a class that had already started.

After explaining to the teacher why I was late he told me that it was okay and proceeded to introduce me before letting me sit.

"I know it's not regular, but this is (L/n) Ukai (Y/n)" the teacher said as I tried not to look at anyone in particular "She has just moved here so everyone be good to her" he added with a tired voice "You can sit over there" he pointed to a free place at the back of the class but in the middle. I sat where he told me "As (L/n) will have to join at least one club I expect you to show her what are her possibilities" he added before continuing with the class.

I sighed still trying not to look at anyone, not wanting to know if they were still looking at me or not. ' I guess it's logic that I join a club... ' I thought, taking out the books. Back at Karasuno High I had it easy because my brother was the coach of the volleyball team so I really only helped him, Shimizu, and Yachi. But now I guess I'd have to really look into the clubs. 

Once the two first periods finished different people started surrounding my table. I looked up at them and smiled as they were doing with me.

"Hi! I'm Matsuoka Gou" a pretty red-haired girl smiled at me "I'm the manager from the swimming club I'd actually love to have some help" she said "The guys also have gorgeous muscles" she said in whispers taking me by surprise at her sudden words.

I gently laughed and politely told her I didn't like swimming but if she needed help she could count on me anyways. She wouldn't do it but I seemed nice if I offered. After her some other people started talking to me about how amazing their clubs were and how they needed someone else, until the break was finally almost over and almost everyone had talked to me about their incredible clubs. I just loved how everyone came to me because they wanted to have another person in their club and not because they were actually interested in me, or me joining them.

I sighed thinking that I was finally done with people when suddenly a nice smiling caramel brown haired girl approached my desk. I looked at her smiling as well, trying to bet with myself which club would she offer me to join. She was wearing two ponytails and had some freckles. As she opened her eyes letting me see their deep brown color she presented herself.
