I was standing at the entrance of the school building, fidgeting with my fingers as I skipped most of the songs on my phone. I gazed around all the people that were entering the grounds of the school, trying to find a bleach blonde boy in order to tell him what I had been planning all morning. I just hoped he was alone and not with Kuroo, because if not I would have to talk to him in class and I preferred to talk things properly.

Surprisingly, I was lucky enough to see Kenma absorbed in his Game boy walking towards the building by himself, so hesitantly and looking around to see if there were any Kuroos nearby, I approached him.

"Uhm, Kenma. Can we talk?" I asked him.

"Wait a moment" he said focusing on the game.

We kept walking together to our class, slowly, so he'd be able to focus on the game while I looked around us. Kenma let go a desperation sigh and put the Game boy away, making me think he had lost.  We stopped near the stairs and he looked at me, expecting me to talk as I had asked him to do.

I had everything planned. What I wanted to say, what I wanted to ask, how I was going to say it, and how I wanted to apologize, yet I forgot about all of that as I saw his golden eyes staring expressionless at mines. Making me more nervous than I was.

"I..." I started stuttering, so I stopped and took a breath "I'm sorry I disappeared" I finally said collected "I understand if you're mad, and I know it's selfish for me to ask something but please, could you not tell Kuroo about me being here?" I looked at him with complete guilt on my eyes.

He kept staring at me, making me swallow from the uncertainty.

"Have you seen him?" he asked me, not answering what I said about him being mad.

"Not here but I figured that much" I answered.

"Sure, it's your choice" he said as if he didn't agree about me not saying anything "And I'm not mad" he finally added walking back to class.

"Really?" I sounded way more surprised than what I'd planned.

"I also figured you would have your reasons" he explained making me sigh relieved. But I also knew Kenma was more logical-driven whereas Kuroo was more hearted-driven, so he might not feel the same way.

"I did" I reassured him before we both got into class just before the teacher did.

"(L/n)!" Shoji, the manager from the male volleyball team, greeted me once class was over and some people were starting to leave class "You didn't come yesterday" she said pouting a little.

"I know, I'm sorry, I forgot" I smiled courteously making her pout some more as I could feel Kenma's look on me, letting me know he knew I was lying so I'd feel bad for doing so "Which club did you join?" she asked me sitting on the empty chair in front of the desk.

As I packed my things I took out the camera and showed it to her.

"What? You ditched me for the photography club?" she hit her forehead to the table making me chuckle slightly by how dramatic she was.

"Yup, I'm sorry" I said standing up because I had to go to my club "If you need help though just tell me" I smiled before turning around to exit the class.

However, I was stopped as I bumped against a firm chest.

"Hey Kenm-" the boy I bumped into stopped saying as we hit each other. I flinched in embarrassment as I stepped back to look at the person.

"I'm sorry! Didn't see you!" I quickly said before realizing who it was.

"Hey, if it isn't the subway girl. You didn't mention you were going to this school" Kuroo smiled at me. I froze for a second as I felt Kenma stare at my nape.
