Chapter 8: The start of the entrance exam

Two months had passed by. Shinso and Katsuki had visited Izuku many times learning about Yagi being All might the two had joined with training. During that time Katsuki had learned how talkative Izuku was and how annoying it could get. One day all Izuku had talked about was all might and how lucky he was to have him as his dad. That day Bakugo had tackled a green-haired boy into the sand with Shinso being the witness. Izuku learned of the consequences of annoying Bakugo Katsuki after receiving a few punches making bruises. They healed up quickly but he still noted to himself to be careful when talking to Kacchan from now on.

All Might had explained that the test won't be judging Shinso fairly so he would be explaining to the principal why they should put him in the hero course. Shinso at first rejected the offer but after much convincing from his friends, he accepted the offer. Katsuki and Izuku were also offered the deal but both rejected saying with their quirks being offensive and physical they could easily get in.

Months had passed and it was the day of the exam. The principal had told Shinso he wouldn't need to take the physical exam but will have to take the written exam for the recommended students to raise the level as to make it fair Shinso agreed and did find it fair. Shinso had taken the exam a few days before so had walked the two and wished them luck.

"Lets all pass!"

"Don't act like you already passed you lil-"

Bakugo put Shinso into a locking choke Izuku was laughing as the two messed around. In the corner of his eye, he saw a student trip he used his wings to catch him before he fell. The student had red spiky hair with a shark-like smile. Izuku gently guided the boy to his feet. The boy dusted himself off and reached his hand out.

"Thanks, dude. I'm Kirishima Eijirou."

Izuku shook the hand and smiled back.

"No problem it would be unlucky to fall and hurt yourself. I'm Midoriya Izuku."

Shinso and Katsuki had stopped and was staring at the two. Before anything more can be said an announcement was heard. The announcement stated that it was time to take the written exam and to head to the assigned area. Shinso wished the two luck and left to kill time. Kirishima was confused as to why he left. Izuku explained that he had taken the recommendation test a few days before. Kirishima was impressed calling Shinso manly. They left their separate ways. The exam had taken an hour but Izuku had turned it in within 40 minutes he got up gave the teacher in charge his test. He glanced over to where Katsuki was seated he saw Katsuki concentrating not noticing his friend had got up. He walked out of the room and quickly out of the building.

He walked around the area waiting for the exam to be over. He had already checked where he and Katsuki would be seated during the assembly. He found his way to the assembly sitting at the sit waiting for students to arrive. After 20 minutes the room started to crowd Katsuki had been the first person to arrive and sat beside Izuku.

"How long did it take?"

"30 minutes but I wanted to look like I tried."

Before Katsuki could reply the hero Present Mic arrived on stage.

"ARE YOU READY TO HAVE FUN?!"

Izuku gave it a thought and screamed back a yeah getting a thank you from Present Mic. The hero started to explain the rules and point system. He was interrupted by a child thinking he was in the right. Only to be shot down by mic with the next slide showing a picture of the robot. He proceeded to explain what the robot was for. After everyone started to exit the hall Izuku and Katsuki chatted as they sat waiting for everyone to leave.

"That explains why dad said Shinso would fail the physical exam."

"This feels kinda easy doesn't it?"

"I want to agree but looks like the guy behind you is gonna argue with that."

Katsuki turned around to see the same student who interrupted the explanation.

"Don't underestimate Yuuei! If you continue to stay here you will be late for the exam. You will need to find out what your assigned area is and where it is."

Before he could keep talking Izuku interrupted.

"And if you keep talking we will actually be late."

Izuku and Katsuki got up and walked out.

"So where are we assigned?"

Izuku pointed to himself and stated he was assigned to area D stating they were separated. Izuku proceeded to point to Katsuki and gave a phrase that will forever make Katsuki shudder but for now, it gave him a heart attack.

"I don't know."

Katsuki had disappeared in front of Izuku in the distance he watched Katsuki ran for his life. Izuku laughed until he arrived at the changing room he changed into a plain green t-shirt and black shorts, wearing the red shoes he bought many months ago at the mall. He walked to his area and noticed the doors were still open. He walked in and gave his name to the people in charge. He started stretching and flapped his wings ready to fly at the drop of a hat. And so he did the second he heard the word "Go!" he flew up and scanned the area looking for robots to destroy. He grabbed two feathers holding them and dived down landing on what seemed like a control panel. He stabbed it and jumped away giving himself a boost and flapped his wings as he watched the robot fall to the ground. He smiled and yelled out a little YES before continuing to do the same to other robots.

Still, don't know what the ships should be arg! I love writing with ships! In this story, it won't have the biggest role but who knows what will happen. I know who I want to ship Shinso with but still blanking on the others. Being a multishipper is a struggle...
