Stile came out of his room a few hours later, the pack huddled up in the living room amongst the couches, Lydia and jackson on ine seat cuddling Aiden not far from them with Ethan and Danny leaning on each other, Erica was in Boyd's lap almost as if she had been crying her face buried in the mans neck as they sat on a single chair and Isaac and Scott on the other couch a small distance between them, all asleep with netflix on low

Stiles sighs looking at the pack running his hand through his hair "where are you Derek, we need you, I need you" He mumbled before going to the kitchen to make food

They trained and went to school they tried to be as normal as possible they couldn't go on runs since Gerard was still close and looking for them

After a few days at his mums Derek finally woke up with a gasp, his heart was racing and Talia had to hold him down as he flailed his claws about eyes glowing that blood red, it took a few minutes to calm him down "Derek calm down, you're safe"

Derek finally calmed after hearing his mothers voice come clear to his mind "mum" Derek breathed out in a gasp "they are trying to kill him mum" he looked into his mothers eyes Derek looking vulnerable to her for the first time in years

She pulled Derek into a tight hug "going to kill who, who's going to kill him"

Derek clung onto Talia tightly he didn't respond but soon fell back to sleep, Talia sighed and lay her son back down covering him back up "is he ok mum" Laura asked worried as she came into the room "what happened to him?"

"I don't know the answer to either of those questions" Talia answers with a sigh looking to her oldest Daughter "I need to find them Laura can you watch your brother?"

Laura nodded looking at her mother worried "mum someone's calling for you" Cora said walking into the room, her eyes lingering on Derek for a short moment "he said it's important"

Talia sighed and nodded she brushed her fingers over Derek's head before walking out of the room, she walked downstairs coming face to face with a large man, "is there something I can help you with" Talia said eyeing him cautiously "

"I came in the respects of Christopher Argent, he want's to make sure Derek got here safely and to let Derek know his pack are fine and Stiles is looking after them"

Talia frowned but nodded "Derek is fine he's almost healed, what do you mean Stiles is looking after them, they are all teenagers"

The man shuffled on his feet "I don't know ma'am that was all I was told, he said the less I know the safer Derek is"

She nodded "well Derek is fine and once you get that disgusting old man from his territory I'll send him back to claim his pack and land back"

The man nodded before leaving the house "who was that?" Cora asked

"That was a hunter, well messenger from Chris" she turned to Cora "everything turns to chaos before the peace falls into place even then remains a small shift in the currents of calmness"

Cora looked at her confused for a moment "you mean there's going to be a war and even when it's over it's not always the end?"

Talia nodded with a smile "exactly what I mean, please help me look after your brother" Cora bit her lip and nodded to her mother before Talia left the house

A week had gone by since Derek had been released from the hunters, Stiles was sat at the front of Deaton's clinic after being pulled out from the back, he was bored he had made everyone at least stick in two's or three's and Stiles got stuck with Scott and therefore started his fiddling with things around the clinic while Deaton and Scott tried to work, leaving him in the entrance with the counter closed off so he couldn't enter "I'm so bored" Stiles whined shuffling on the seat so he was dangling upside down on it "I want Derek" Stiles mumbled and that didn't take long for the young alpha to see his beta behind the counter with a dark glare "I want him back" Stiles said with a mumble a sadness washing over him

"Why do you care about him so much Stiles, he's nothing but trouble and brings danger to us, I know I have said some harsh things about him before that I regret but he's going to get us killed"

Stiles looked up at him in disbelief "you better be thankful you are behind that counter Scotty because I suddenly have the urge to punch you, hell i have the sudden need to hand you over to Derek as a present for all his pent up sadness and anger to use you as a punch bag and that counter there is keeping you safe"

Scott's jaw dropped as he watched and listened to his Alpha, Stiles face remained stoic and emotionless the whole time he spoke, the only thing was the distance in his eyes almost as if he was gazing past Scott instead of at him "that was nice to walk in on" there heads shot to the door hearing the familiar voice of no other then Talia Hale

"We so need to work on our senses or all Hale's are sneaky" Stiles mumbled holding his hand over his heart "Derek sneaks up on me all the time scary not use to it"

Talia frowned slightlt before allowing a soft smile "I need to speak with Deaton" Talia announced

Stiles stood up quickly "is it Derek is he ok" Stiles started to ramble out a bunch of questions about Derek

"Take him home Scott" Scott was about to argue with Deaton but was cut off "I'll pay you double if you take him home"

Scott nodded walking out to Stiles when Deaton opened the gate resting his hands on both Stiles shoulders "come on"

Stiles shrugged him off and glared at his beta "I need to know how he is Scott, don't touch me" his eyes flashed red at Scott and Scott whimpered backing away from Stiles hands up in surrender "I'm sick of all the secrets, I need to know how Derek is, I can't do this alone, I need Derek he's the only one clueless about these secrets that are also part of it and it's driving me crazy, everyone I know keeps a secret from me, mum, dad, Chris, these two most likely know aswell seeing as they seem to know my mother better then...."

Stiles was cut short of what he was saying and Talia catched him in her arms Scott not touching his Alpha despite wanting to catch his best friend his order not to touch was from his Alpha, Deaton standing there pulling a syringe away from the young Alpha "now I understand" Talia said softly picking the younger Alpha up "I get it now why they are so close so soon" she looked down at Stiles "I'm sorry I couldn't protect your mother Stiles" Scott was looking lost at them frowning

"What's going on" Scott said with a frown

"When the time is right you will know" Talia said before walking out of the clinic

Scott went to follow but stopped as Deaton grabbed his shoulder "you all need to be prepared Scott, all of you" Scott was still looking at the door as if he wanted to get his Alpha back from Talia "she won't hurt him now she knows who he is she won't hurt him"

Scott slumped on defeat "what's going on"

"I can't tell you that Scott, but soon all will be revealed" Deaton squeezed Scott's shoulder walking back into his operation area
