"Can we get food first" Stiles smiled "I'm so hungry"

"You haven't been out of bed all day have you" Stiles shook his head at Derek's question and Derek shook his back a smiles on his face which only made the packs stare at the pair "Let's go get some food" Derek said heading into the kitchen with Stiles

"I think we are the ones needing the explanation" Isaac announced from his seat amongst his staring pack members "I mean I know Stiles missed Derek but I never took Derek to smile like that, and last time I checked you where all stay away from Stiles"

Erica nudged Isaac for his casual attitude towards Talia "shut up Isaac" she hissed out at him and he pulled a face at her

"See Derek they act like children" Stiles said making Derek laugh, Stiles was holding a packet of crisps as they walked over to the sofa, Derek dropping Stiles carefully before sitting next to him, Stiles smiled and leaned against Derek opening the crisps "so what's this whole big secret?" Stiles asked before munching on his snack

"I need Deaton and Natalie before I can explain this to you properly" Talia says with a calm smile watching the two boys

"If you told us I would have brought my mum with me, now we might be waiting until tomorrow"

"Then why don't we just celebrate Stiles birthday for now" Scott announced as Stiles was trying to feed a crisp to Derek, Derek eventually chuckled and took the crisp nipping Stiles finger making him laugh

"And yet they still claim friendship" Erica chimes watching them, they both look at Erica with a grin

"They both might claim it but if they looked now they know friendship is only a small fraction of what they have" Talia explained before the door was knocked on, Noah went and answered it, leading Chris, Deaton and Natalie into the front room "welcome" Talia greeted with a smile

Derek smiled down at Stiles, his arms around the younger boys torso as he kept Stiles close before burying his face in Stiles neck while his mum greeted the three visitors, Stiles hums in content leaning into Derek's touch, they both know it was more then friendship, they knew before Derek even kissed his cheek, they just never could pin point what it was, now they just where happy to be back in each others presence after so long they practically blanked out anyone around them "good you brought him back" Chris said with a smile looking at the two boys cuddled together "he was really shy when I first met him but super snappy when it comes to missing Derek" the five adults chuckled shaking their heads

"So are you going to tell us the big secret yet" Stiles asked moving his hand to play with Derek's hair as he discards the empty packet of crisps to the near by coffee table,  Derek hums softly taking a deep breath as he intakes Stiles scent

Natalie looked at Lydia before sighing "I can do it but I don't want to right now, it's a painful process and this is your birthday"

Stiles bit his lip and nodded, Derek lifted his head as Stiles turned over to bury his head into Derek's neck doing the same thing as Derek "I think we still want to know what the secret it"

Natalie rubbed her temples then glanced over at Talia and Noah then Deaton and Chris, they all seemed to nod as the rest of the pack remained silent "fine but this will be painful" she warned before waving Lydia over, Lydia got up and went over to her mum as they had a small discussion in a different language, Lydia smiled and nodded

When they stepped away from each other Stiles was looking up at Derek a smile on both their faces, Derek closed his eyes and sighed in content as Stiles run his thumbs over Derek's cheek before bringing their fur heads together both sighing in content "so this is normal?" Scott questioned with a frown "for them to be like this"

Deaton nodded "this is perfectly normal for any pair of werewolves that have spent so much time apart"

"Pair?" Erica questioned "as in lovers?"

Deaton smiled and nodded "yes, as in lovers" Chris was leaning against the wall as he watched them all talk "there is this bond between these to greater then that of a lover" Deaton explained

Natalie sighed "Let's do this then" Lydia had sound proofed the house and Stiles and Derek both looked around in curiosity Natalie started saying things, chanting in a weird foreign language, the Beta's seemed to watch with horrified eyes as their Alpha's clutched tightly to their heads and began to scream, it seemed to last forever, the other wolves holding their ears and being restrained from defending their Alpha's by Lydia, their eyes glowed as they tried to hold back the protective wolves as their Alpha's cried out in pain

After about 15 maybe 20 minutes Natalie Stopped and both Derek and Stiles slumped back into the couch passing out "are they ok" Isaac said with a worried stare towards his best friend and Alpha Scott doing the same before they both had gone over to Derek and Stiles, surprisingly enough Scott went to Derek and Isaac to Stiles "are they hurt"

"Not anymore" Natalie said "but they can't be separate for a while or they will be in pain again, anything more then 10 meters and the pain will return, this only lasts a few days but it should be alright" Natalie said watching Scott and Isaac try and wake them up

Derek was the first to wake after half an hour, giving Scott a confused look as he was Still by his side, he looked over at Isaac with a smile before the boy slumped in the seat beside him, Derek sat up properly and Stoked his fingers over Stiles cheek "Meiczy" Derek whispered, Stiles groaned and just turned over making Derek grin

"I don't think I'm ever going to get use to Derek smiling like that" Jackson said shaking his head making the majority of them laugh
