The two days went by fairly quickly and Derek and Stiles didn't meet up, they did text though but it was only really to confirm the time for today they didn't talk about the little kiss on the cheek that maybe driving Stiles just a little crazy.

Stiles was pacing around his room running his hands through his hair "it was just a friendly gesture" he said trying to convince himself that there was nothing more to it just a friendly goodbye, that his mind and heart was just trying to play tricks on him

"What was just a friendly gesture?" Noah asked watching his son pace about

Stiles froze and spun around to meet his fathers gaze "nothing, everything is.... good" Stiles pursed his lips and Noah narrowed his eyes suspiciously but nodded anyways "ah I'm going out later with Derek, to see Talia about why she is looking for mum"

Noah's eyes widened "are you sure thats a good idea?"

Stiles shrugged and nodded "I don't know but I want to know why she's looking for mum"

Noah walked over and hugged his son "I don't want anything to happen to you Stiles, I don't need you disappearing like your mother"

"I know dad" Stiles hugged his dad back he could smell the sadness coming from his father "Derek won't let me get hurt he'd protect me from his own mum I feel safe with him everything will be fine dad, I'll find out why she's looking for mum then she should be going back to new york or something, everything will be fine I promise"

Noah nodded and squeezed Stiles shoulder "be safe, she scares me"

"She scares me to" Stiles admitted before his dad pushed back lightly giving his son a small smile "I'll be ok dad I promise" Stiles gave him a reassuring smile

Noah nodded and gave him one last final squeeze before going to bed

It was just after lunch they where going to meet at the overhang, it was a small break in the school term so they weren't at school so it didn't help when Erica was constantly at Dereks after the whole rushing the pack out of Stiles house "what did you do to Stiles Derek"

Derek ran his hand down his face, he had lost count how many times she has asked this question since they left, and he hasn't answered once just ignored it "nothing, stop asking me" he growled out

Erica frowned crossing her arms "if it's nothing why has batman not shown up, we rushed outta there faster then flash and you haven't spoken to him since"

Derek glared at her and she huffed "nothing happened Erica we are going to see my mum today, we haven't had a reason to see each other is that so much of a problem for you to understand that nothing happened"

She glared at Derek before storming away "you're such a grumpy asshole" she shouted not that she needed to because Derek would have heard her anyways

Derek let out a sigh of relief laying back on his couch, his head turned to Isaac who was raising and eyebrow at his Alpha "what?"

"You said not to ask" Isaac stated before turning his head away and Derek frowned  "though I think that was the first time I saw our big bad Alpha blush so much" He said with a smirk

Derek narrowed his eyes at Isaac before throwing a pillow at him, Isaac dived out of the way laughing "shut up"

Isaac smirked "what happened did you kiss" Derek tensed and Isaac's eyes widened "did you?"

"No" Derek grunted out sitting up "not exactly" he mumbled heading for the stairs followed by Isaac and his questioning look he turned to face Isaac after entering his room "I kissed his cheek" Derek frowned and shut his bedroom door as a huge grin spread across Isaac's cheek
