Okay so I know I've been gone for eternity so to make it up to everyone, have this long ass chapter to keep you occupied while I continue writing the other drafts I have-

Also, a little heads up: theres a lot of songs in this chapter so that's probably one reason it's so long.
Enough talking tho. Enjoy!

Roman:

I was sitting on my bed, wearing Virgil's jacket over my usual clothes with my earphones in. I looked at him - he seemed so peaceful and snug on that beanbag. He's perfect in every way - he definitely doesn't think that, but he really is. I remembered the stupid stuff we did last night. It was probably the best night I've ever had in my life. I was giggling to myself while listening to Lunchbox Friends. I remember I was teaching Virgil the dance I made up for it, he got it right in the end but when he kept messing up, we both laughed. He didn't care about it. He seemed so confident, which was a really sweet surprise. When he opens up, he's one of the nicest people you could meet. I sat up, smiling like a fool. I'm not sure why he opened up to me; it was probably the fact that we were just sat making fun of movies and pointing out the obvious plot holes for a good chunk of the night. I picked my phone up and skipped to the next song. All Star. We were doing karaoke and Virgil sang it. He wasn't being serious about it but he still sounded amazing. It reminded me of how we used to be when we were kids. We used to be so close, but as Thomas got older we got separated more and more... the same with my brother... I never realized how much I missed his company. I looked around the room, the glitter shining in the light bleeding through the opening in the curtains. My cheeks had hints of pink dusted on them. I got up and opened my door. I took one last glance at Virgil, smiling as I went downstairs to get breakfast.

~Flashback to last night~

3rd person:

"TRAITOR!"
"WASTE OF SPACE!"
"PARANOID!"
"SCUM!"
The voices were screaming in Virgil's head as if they were satisfied by his suffering and pain. They kept getting louder and louder. With his faced nuzzled into his knees that were now soaked with tears, he let out another scream. Virgil was all alone in his dark room; the only light around him was coming from his purple fairy lights above his bed and his dull phone screen. He couldn't see anything other than a blurred mass of purples blacks and greys. His sobbing got louder and louder. He hadn't noticed that someone had opened his door.

"Hey, Virgil I heard something and I just came to check up on y-" For some reason, Roman's voice managed to pierce the voices and lower their volume. Virgil suddenly felt... safe. "Oh my- STORM CLOUD-" Roman ran over to Virgil and held him tightly in his arms as Virgil clung onto Roman as if he'd never see him again, sobbing his heart out soaking Roman's shirt with his tears. "Shhh... everything's ok. I'm here. I've got you. Nothing bad will happen to you. Just keep breathing Virge." Virgil started to calm down; Roman's heartbeat was rather soothing, it had a calm reassuring feel to it. He liked it - no, loved it. His grasp was still strong on Roman's shirt, but his breathing was steady now and Roman was running his fingers through the anxious side's hair. They both wished this could last forever. Virgil nuzzled his head into Roman's chest, inhaling the sweet smell coming from him. The sad thing is that Virgil knew- well, thought that Roman wouldn't return how he felt, but for the time being that didn't matter. He was in the most handsome prince's arms right now, and he savoured every moment of it. "Virgil?" The princely trait asked in a calm, mellow tone. Virgil pulled away from the embrace so that he could look at Roman's face. "Yeah Roman?"
"Are you okay now?" He asked, smiling sweetly while wiping the last few tears on Virgil's face away. "Y-Yeah... I'm better now that you're here." Virgil's smile made Roman's heart skip a beat - it was a truly wonderful sight to behold, but a rare one at that. "Well that's good to hear. Hey, I'm going back to my room... you wanna come? We can watch some terrible movies and make fun of them like we used to?" He suggested. Virgil's face lit up with happiness as he replied "Yes, of course I wanna go with you!"
"Well let's not waste any time!" Virgil got up from off of Roman's lap and Roman followed, both of them walking out of Virgil's room. "First one there is the gayest!" Virgil blurted out and ran towards Roman's room. Roman ran after him, both of them laughing at the memories of those two when they were younger.
