"Because, Virgil, it's a chance for everyone to bond." Roman told Virgil as all 4 of the light sides got into the car. Logan and Patton were in the front seats talking about something to do with animals, while Roman and Virgil stayed silent in the back; Virgil was looking out of the window quietly singing along to the song playing on the radio.
"...cause my, high hopes are getting low because these people are so old, the way they think about it all. If I tried I would never know."

Roman decided to join in with the singing to break the silence in the back.
Roman:
Other than me and Virgil singing, we didn't talk. For some reason I felt too nervous to talk. I looked over at him - his head was resting on the window and he looked dead inside, and I'd be lying if I said that wasn't a mood right now. I looked at his face. I didn't expect him to look so good in makeup... he looks gorgeous in lipstick. He was wearing a P!ATD beanie with the MCR hoodie that I got him for his birthday. The thought of the hoodie made me smile a little. He was wearing a choker with a little charm of his logo on; his nails were painted and he was wearing his normal ripped jeans and checked Vans. Hes so fucking cute.
"What's making you smile, sir-sing-alot?"
"Oh, nothing..."
"C'mon, tell me. Your cheeks are pink. Is it one of your celebrity crushes?"
"No... well..... it is a crush" I confessed. "Ooo~ who is it?"
I felt my face get hotter "It...it's none if your business! The only clues I'll give you is that you know him and you probably think hes a nobody, but he really isnt."
"He sounds nice..." Virgil looked back out of the window. He sounded sad. "Virgil...? You sound sad, what's wrong?"
"It doesn't matter, Ro."
"Are you sure?"
"Positive."
That was obviously a lie, but I didn't want to push it. I know what he's been through, and seeing him upset crushed my heart.
