Hi, I'm Sara Patton and my mornings can be extremely interesting... like today.
"BEEP BEEP BEEP" I groan as I glare at my phone. It's summer break, why was my alarm even... Wait a second, it wasn't summer break, it was the first day of school!
I throw on the outfit I had spent weeks putting together and ran downstairs to find my brother, Jared, pulling a pop tart out of the toaster and throwing it at me. Of coarse with my bad luck it fell on the floor but I picked it up and took a big bite out of it while he gave me a very interested look. "5 Second Rule!" I blurted out as I ran up stairs.
I brushed my brown hair that fell a few centimeters above my shoulders and carefully placed my side bangs to where I wanted them. I sighed before making a face at myself before running to the bathroom. I quickly brushed my teeth and ran down stairs. Jared handed me my backpack, smirking knowing I probably would've forgotten it, and followed me outside to his car.
Ok, so let me catch you up. As you know my name is Sara Patton and I have a brother, Jared Patton. Anyways, I'm 14 and this would be my first year at high school. I was looking forward to seeing my best friends Julianna Ferman and Eliza Barrino, along with my friends Alice Dice and Selena Blaire who were practically sisters. When we got to school I jumped out of the car, happy I wasn't late, and raced to where my friends were, but to my surprise, a group of girls who I was friends with, although not as close to, looked at me with disgust on their faces. I looked around and everyone was continuing to talk, had no one else seen that? Maybe this year wouldn't be as exciting as I thought...
