Today was shopping day! Home coming was in a few weeks and we had to find the perfect dress! I was going with all my girls and we had a little screaming moment when we found the perfect little dress boutique! It had short dresses, long dressed, poofy dresses, tight dresses and basically all the types of dresses you could think of!
Alice went to the tight sparkly dresses with Selena. Jennie and Taylor went to the big, poofy, princess dresses because, yes, they had a girly side. Julianna, Eliza and I just looked around because we had no idea what we wanted!
We looked the whole store up and down and everyone had found a dress except me. Alice got a pink dress that went to about her thighs, it had sparkles everywhere and jewels outlined the sweetheart neck. Selena got a purple sparkly dress with a straight across neck and thin straps, it fell to her knees and was tight at the top but then poofed out at the bottom with toole.
Jennie found a lilac dress that was long and poofy, fortunately it was majorly poofy, just a little bit. Taylor found a deep red satin dress that fell to the floor, it was a straight across neck with wide straps.
Julianna found a dress that was sunset orange. It was strapless and even though it was long, the bottom half was sheer. Eliza found a soft blue, long dress that had a one shoulder strap that was outlined with jewels. All the girls looked amazing in their dresses, but I still couldn't find one.
Then, their it was. I was a beautiful soft pink dress with a sweet heart neck line. It shimmered but wasn't over the top, something was familiar about it. It kept making me think of a lady who looked exactly like me only older and a lot prettier. Then I remembered, this was like my mom's old dress! She wore one like this to her homecoming. It had the same soft fabric and coloring, the same neckline and shimmery detail. But most of all it had my mom's signature, roses that you could just make out. It was like they were hidden in the fabric, but they were there.
It made me think back to her funeral where I wore and flowery dress and laid a rose in her coffin. I rushed to the dressing room to try it on. I walked out and the girls came over to hug me. "You look just like her, Sar!" Julianna cried "Thanks Julie." I replied. I took off the dress and we went to check out.
While heading to the checkout we saw a familiar head flirting with a really cute cashier. "RILEY!" Alice and Selena yelled. She told the cashier something before turning around "Hey Guys!" She started. I kind if zoned out studying the cashier. He was really cute with black messy hair, he was tan and had brown eyes, he looked to be the bad boy type. His name tag said Chad, he looked really familiar
We all checked out while Riley continued to flirt with Chad, it looked like she was really in to him. "Hey Riley, do you want to come to lunch with us?" I asked "Um, I'm actually going to lunch with Chad, but next time defiantly!" She replied smiling up at Chad while he smiled down at her. "Ok" I replied and we left.
We met up with the boys at the Pizza Parlor and they looked really fancy. Alice, Jennie, Selena and I gave each other looks while Julianna, Eliza and Taylor were giggling. Something was up. We went to the nearest table and sat down. We ordered our drinks and all of a sudden the lights got low. Julie, Eliza and Taylor went to the bathroom so we were alone with the boys. Then music started to play and the boys started to sing Love Story by Taylor Swift. All of a sudden the girls came out if the back and sang the back up.
Finally the sing was over and Cole, Jay, River and Aaron took out hands and "Will you go to homecoming with me?" They asked each of us. We looked at each other, acting unsure "If you don't will sing to you again..." Cole said. Our eyes went wide because the boys were really bad singers "YES!" We blurted out at the same time. The whole place arty pets into claps and cheers and startled me because I totally forgot they were there.
All of a sudden Riley came in with Chad. "Huh, I think we missed something..." She said to Chad and we all started laughing. She smiled and came over to eat with us. I kept smiling at Cole who was smiling at me. This was the most perfect day ever!

Ok, so the ending is kind if cheesy, but I hope you liked it! Thank you Alexandra so much!! She helped with this chapter ALOT!! I don't know what I would do with out her!! Thanks for reading
Love, Sophia
