Omigod You Guys!

The next morning I got up and did my regular routine, only this time it seems Tyler and Gracianna got their own ride. I flipped on bed and let out a few deep breaths. How can I still have feeling for Cole with a great guy like Tyler? I was so confused. Not only that but the Valentines Dance and the play was just around the corner! If I keep thinking about this any longer I think my head might explode, so I started getting ready.

I walked down stairs and went to the car in complete zombie mode. I could tell Jared was worried about me but I really didn't care.

When we arrived at school I plastered on a fake smile. Being the school's Elle, I had to play the part, or at least that was the assignment for the rest of the month, since The Play is literally the day after the Valentines Dance. I strutted through the hall way, fake confidence in the air around me. I found Tyler and shyly went up to him. "Please, please, please forgive me! I don't know what happened! I promise it won't happen again." I told him with my best puppy face. "I'll give you one more chance." he said with a stern face. I jumped up and down and hugged him till he was out of air. we walked to class together, an air of excitement was now around me.

It was the week before the Valentine's Day dance and everyone was getting ready. Today was going to be my dress shopping day and then over the weekend the girls and I would get together. Alice said she had a surprise in store for us!

I waited for Tyler and Gracianna to come knocking on the door, but only Gracianna showed. "Where's Tyler?" I asked "Oh he has to go to school early." She smirked. Huh, weird.

When we got to school, I found him in a tux with a red rose. He started walking to me, but Cole stepped in his way. I focused my full attention on Cole so I didn't see the look of betrayal that flashed through Tyler's eyes as he walked away. "So I was wandering," Cole started "if you want to go to the dance with me?" He smirked like he already knew the answer. "Um, I'll think about it." I said before rushing off. Huh this is like a déjà vu moment. I wonder where the trash can and the feeling I once had for him was. Then I realized something, I'd been after Mr. Wrong when Mr. Right was in front of me this whole time! I just hope I wasn't too late.

At lunch I sat my stuff down and made my way to the stage there. I tapped on the microphone as the last few people entered. "Hi everyone!" I said they all yelled "Hi, Sara!" back, I giggled a bit. "Well earlier today, Cole Jacobs asked me to go to the dance with him, and I think I have an answer." I cleared my throat and got ready to recite the speech that caused the heart pain I had been feeling, "Cole, You had your chance. and it's expired. Plus I don't date backstabbing jerks." I smiled at the crowd and left the cafeteria. I guess that if I lost Tyler, it was my own fault.

Omigod! It's the day of the dance and tomorrow's the Play! I was so psyched to show Alice's surprise off to everyone! After we got our dresses, she customized them for us. Gosh I love her! Everything was perfect as I walked into the gym where the dance was. Sure I was going solo, but I had my friends to back me up. We dance and sang along to the song, everything was perfect. I just wish that I could've worked everything out with Tyler.

The night ended, or at least for me. I went home and studiedly lines for the final time. Although, I didn't see Josh at the dance, I hope he's okay.

The night of the play, everyone was bustling around. We made it through the first 3 scenes fine, but nobody could find Josh. I started panicking but remembered all the hours Tyler and I had spent studying those lines. I pulled Mrs. K to the side and told her my plan. She called to someone through her headset and before we knew it, Tyler was in the Emmet outfit, ready to go on.

I entered and said my lines. Tyler got his down perfectly. Before I knew it, it was the end of the play. Legally Blonde Remix was sung, the court room scene was finished and now, it was time for the last scene and Find My Way, which others like to refer as ten kissing song.

I sung the song and got down on one knee to "propose" to Emmet. We did the final kiss, and I felt something. Something deep down. I stayed in character even though my mind was buzzing. The bows were done and the Play was finished.

I waited in the theatre after everyone was gone and sat thinking. Tyler joined me. "Crazy year, huh." He said quietly. I nodded my head. "I heard your speech in the lunchroom." He told me. I giggled, "I'm pretty sure everyone did." I recalled all the faces looking up at me from the stage. "Listen, I've been wanting to ask this for a while now, so um, would you like to-" "Yes!" I cut him off already knowing what he was going to say. I engulfed him in a hug. "I mean, come on, two older couples said we were a cute couple, it was meant to be ." He joked as we walked out. I giggled and put my head on his shoulder. This year wasn't so bad after all.

THE END!! I know it kind of went by fast but I still love this chapter. I might write an epilogue later, but for now I'm gonna leave it at finished. Thank you guys so much for reading this book. This was my first one and I admit, probably not the greatest but Yay we did it! I'll be posting some more books later on like I said I have two stories brewing in my head.
