I was aware yesterday that we would be joining a dance class with Mr roots class during fourth period today but i didnt expect to see lucy there. when i arrived I went to the seat closest to her and sat down
"what are you doing here?" she asks
"This is my third period so im joining you guys today the same for the others" I explain and lucy nods her head and we look at the teacher.
"okay good morning you guys I know some of you come from sabertooth uni and some of you are in ms waves class, my name is Mr root and Im the teacher of this class and I welcome you, today we are going to be doing a dance in a group to the song" the teacher says
"this is a drag," Natsu says grinning and I chuckle
"shut it pyro" I say and smile back and he looks jokingly offended
"now i will demonstrate what we will do, the song we will be doing in fallow the leader by wisin and Yandel. but after you will be able to pick your own song" the teacher says and plays the music and dances to a four minute song i near fall asleep but when I look At lucy i see that she is watching it intently at everything.
"that seems pretty easy," lucy says
"Would anyone like to volunteer to do it by themselves?" the teacher asks and lucy shyly raises her hand and the teacher sees it and calls her up
my mouth dropped as she danced to it after watching it once. gray had the same reaction along with all of my friends
"she did also only see this once right?" gray asks amazed and I nod my head
"as far as i am aware" I say
"she seems to be having fun, now both of you shut up" erza says and I do just that absolutely captivated by how she was doing the coronagraph.
"wait wasn't she wearing our school uniform when did she change into that?" I ask and erza smirks
"my sister said she could use if she danced by herself during class," erza says
"well damn she looks good," I say and gray smirks and then i realize what she said and he playfully punches me
"does flame brain have a crush?" he asks and everyone looks at me who become shy
"I ship it" i hear Mira says and my eyes widen. at what Mira said nobody ever shipped me with anyone so i was surprised, plus this was the most popular girl and it was rare when she did ship two people.
"well she looks so sexy that's all i have to say," I say suddenly some boy hoots hearing her on and I look to see loke and my blood boils.
"well-done lucy you can take a seat, would anyone else or should we do this in groups now. i will pick them and so I choose Lyon, Jallal, Natsu, gray, sting, rouge, and Lexus, but would you like to the song to dance to" the teacher asks as we get up and we nod our heads
"dope by its" Lexus says and then looks at us
"Okay," the teacher says and we get into positions and as soon as the music starts grays shirt is off and it's not even his part yet
lucy's p.o.v small
I look at erza
"is there a reason gray is not wearing a shirt?" I ask and she sighs and shakes her head
"no it just happens I dont know why though" erza admits
"it's hot" juvia says
"for the sake of not making another enemy im not going to say anything I say and erza nods her head
"i agree," Mira says
"by the way Mira since im having a sleepover at my house would you like to join?" Erza asks and Mira agrees happily
"that would be fun, is it directly after school?" she asks and erza shakes her head
"no, it isn't because lucy needs to do a few things but after she has lets me know," erza says smiling reassuringly at me and i smile and Mira nods her head as the song comes to an end. Natsu looks at me out of breath and head over to me
"How was that?" he asks
"you were amazing better than me," I say shyly looking down blushing
"Thanks, lucy that means a lot," he says
"no problem," I say
"Okay now can I have erza, lucy, juvia, and mira-jane up please" the teacher calls and the four of us head up and tell the song we want to do
~natsu's p.o.v~
I could see the happiness yet fear in lucy's eyes but how much power she was putting into the dance was amazing
finally, after a lot of groups the school day ended i picked up my bag and was about to walk out when I heard a scream and I turned over my shoulder and I saw Lucy on the ground again touka and lissanna picking on lucy again. she got up and walked away
"you know i can take a good guess on why you aren't a turn-on for Natsu and if you used your brain you would know the answer" she says and she walks out of the room and leaving lissanna and touka fuming in anger and I quickly catch up to lucy
"hey you alright lucy?" I ask and she nods her head
"I'm fine don't worry about me okay?" she says and I look at her skeptically
"um lucy i have a question, why are you shy in front of groups and then when those two both you you get a backbone?" I ask and she looks at me
"i guess because I dont like when people talk as if your their property and I dont like that in general since its not okay I guess, plus if not for you i would not be here so you deserve all of my thanks and that's why i want to protect you I guess" she admits and I chuckle and smile and look forward again as we leave the gates and see our friends waiting for us on the other side of the gate and we walked away back home.
