I woke up to the smell of pancakes and bacon two of my favorite food, I quickly got dressed ready for the day and rush downstairs to see gildarts cooking his famous pancakes with bacon
"morning idiot" he greets
"im not an idiot well not as much as i used to be," I say and he chuckles
"have to say your partner is something when it comes to celestial keys," gildarts says and I look at him confused
"how do you know i work with someone?" I asked
"i played fairy tail the game and your partner was up," he says
"at two in the morning!?!?" I asked alarmed
"add thirty minutes to that," he says and I scratch my head
"wow anyways do i have to go to school i dont want to," I say "because I'll have to deal with lisanna" I say and he looks at me confused
"i thought you liked her?" he says
"i never did she just has convinced everyone that she is my wife-to-be," I say irritated
"well then tell her that," he says
"i have tried but she doesn't listen to me she is to hung up" I say and he sighs and looks at me
"i would say dont go but im not your dad and he is very serious about you going to school" he sympathizes
"i know that's why it sucks," i say
"well anyways buck up kiddo at least you only have to deal with her for six hours," he says
"THAT DOESNT HELP!" i yell
"sorry i dont know how to comfort people very well every man has their weaknesses," he says
"two things can you not yell in the morning and two what's for breakfast?" gray asks shirtless again
"Why aren't you wearing clothes again?" I ask
"crap," he says
" its pancakes and bacon eat up im taking you two in fifteen minutes," gildarts says
"why?" I ask
"because your dad left at two and told me to take you since your mom needs to take wendy and since you guys go to two different schools in two different arias if I took you two and wendy one of you would end up late" he says he had a point my sisters school was about a three hour drive from here and thankfully her school started at 8:05 so she could sleep a little later however me and gray had school at seven and since it was six forty-five we only had fifteen minutes
we arrive at school and see erza waiting with lissanna and her sister mirajane. they waited for me smiling
"hey natsuu" lissana says and I roll my eyes
"morning everyone," I say
"anyways let's go" say and everyone nods
I head to my classroom which i had with lissana ad erza and sat the end of the row and watched the clouds waiting for the day to pass.
"good morning class," ms xi says looking at us and we say good morning and do our morning greeting and then she gets to the morning announcements s
"Okay class I have some news for everyone since this is a performing arts school were going to be holding our annual festival and the main event is a singing conpation you can go solo or in a pair or a group it doesn't matter just know that you have to sign up soon because slots will fill up because the prise is a trip to a tropical for four people and it can be anyone so you might want to do it and win" the teacher says looking at us smiling
"This sounds like bribery" A kid called miles yells and everyone laughs laughing with him
"think of it how you want just know that its an actual thing," the teacher says and we nod and after a few minutes we finally are released from the room and I'm stopped by lissanna
"hey want to do the contest with me?" she asks and I hesitate
" um... i'll think about it but dont get your hopes up high i dont even think I'll do it" I say and she looks upset but i just walk away not care you see i didnt care for relationships they were a waste of time and annoying also you had to pick the clingy ones from the independent ones and the middle one where they were clingy enough that they would ask for help if needed but would be independent and not ask for much help if they needed it. and so far i haven't found any girl like that especially in this school yet and i would never date lisanna she was nice and all but she was way too clingy and a yandere for me and to be honest really annoying so not even if i had to choose between her and a demon i would still choose the demon. okay, that sounds really harsh and as if i hate her but i just didnt like her at all and her doing that was leaning me towards hating her.
"ouch that was harsh," gray says coming out of nowhere
"yeah i know but i really don think im not doing it, to begin with," I say and he sighs
"anyways you ready o do math?" he asks and my face pales math my worst subject and the one i hated the absolute most i would burn it in a fire if it was possible and everyone who knew me knew it i got scolded by erza once for not knowing how to do simple math even though my brain couldn't comprehend that.
"don't remind me my brain is hurting just thinking about it" I say and gray smiles and chuckles
"anyways we still have four more hours to go till school is over, but lunch is a hour and a half so you can look forwards to that now" he says and I nod my head as we step into the classroom and take our seats.
