~lucys p.o.v~ (Wednesday afternoon)
as i ran out of the school i felt my eyes well up with tears as I ran, would i ever escape this meanness or would i would always face it, I thought that if I escaped that room everything will be better but i guess I was wrong like normal. but i didnt want to go back that would be just as bad as giving in again and I was not going to do that again. I ran into some trees and found my self near a river and sat down watching as animals run around and drink the water I smiled softly as they did so and I laid down on the cool and lightly damp grass because it had rained the night before and looked up and I soon felt my eyes closed
"lucy?..." A voice says again
"lucy..... open your eyes you're worrying me" I hear it call again and I open one eye
"you okay?" the voice asks reveling Natsu and I smile and nod my head
"im fine just needed some space and more sleep," I say and I hear him chuckle
"you are just like a baby did you know that?" He asks and I smile
"no, not really but lay down it feels so nice," I say and he looks at me skeptically
"but we should head back to school the day isn't over," he says looking at me his eyebrow raised "well i dont feel like it, you can but you would be missing out" I point out and he sighs
"you can't win against me Natsu," I say smiling again and closing my eyes
"you dont get up now i will forcefully bring you back," he says and takes a step towards me and my eyes widen
"dont you dare Natsu, im tired let me sleep" I whine and he groans and I curl up into a small ball and make myself as heavy as possible and fall asleep again I hear him sigh in defeat and i peak at him
"if i lay down and relax will you come back?" he asks and I smirk
"i promise dont worry about it," I say and flatten myself again and he sighs and lays down next to me and soon we are both asleep when suddenly it gets cold and subconsciously i move closer to Natsu and cuddle him.
when we wake up again the sun is setting and he looks at me confused about what happened to the two of us and then checks our phones to see the time
"We should get going lucy," he says and I nod my head
"what about school?" I ask and he looks at me and sighs
"it already passed the school hours it's ended, but to be honest i really didnt want to be there so i dont know whether i should thank you or not," he says and I look at him
"you can decide that but right now i think we should head back to your house, whichever way that is," I say
"yeah i think its this way," Natsu says and nods and we start heading to the left and eventually see the city again and we head home. and when we arrive we see a very worried gray, erza and Natsu's family
"There you are!, i was so worried," wendy says hugging her brother and then I look at everyone who is smirking and gulp
"gray give me my twenty," Erza says holding out her hand and he sighs
"WAIT YOU MADE A BET?" I ask alarmed at them and they just smile and nod their head
"of course we did," Gray says and i facepalm
"you guys are crazy," I say and they all laugh
"i thought that people outside of where i grew up would be more insane and chaotic," I say
"We are we are just restricting it," Natsu says grinning, I look at guildarts and see him grinning and nodding his head agreeing with Natsu
"anyways I heard that we are getting Nabors soon," zeref says
"cool, do you know who?" erza asks looking at the black-haired boy
"all i heard its a family of two, but besides that, i dont know anything else" zeref shrugs
"anyways im hungry what's for dinner?" Natsu asks and we all look at him
"how about food?" his father says and we all laugh but i feel like mine is a forced and not genuine laugh. they all head inside and I hesitantly walk behind them and I see how much they like talking to each other and some part of me feels envious of them because of how good they got along with each other especially Natsu and his dad. I sighed and as they walk to the dining room i go and head upstairs and log onto my computer and practice fighting and level up my spirits and my speed and strength. I got so wrapped up in the playing i didnt notice Natsu at the door watching my facial expressions.
"hey lucy, are you not hungry?" I hear Natsu ask and I look up at him and nod
"yeah i just am so overwhelmed by today and stuff i kinda lost my appetite, sorry" I apologize and he shakes his head
"no it's okay, i shouldn't have pulled you into school like that so fast," He said and walks over to me and sits down next to me.
"where are you?" he asks
"um hargeon but im almost done," I say and he sighs
"alright i was hoping i could play with you," he says upset and I chuckle
"what?" he asks confused
"Nothing," I say his eyes linger on me but tear away from me soon when we hear chatter downstairs
"who is that do you think?" I ask and he smirks
"come," he says a grin appearing and so i save the game and we walk downstairs and see this young boy talking to wendy adn I look at Natsu his eyes are exited
"Romeo what are you doing here?" wendy asks and the boy chuckle
"what do you think im here with dad and mom to get gray, it's not like i came here to see you," he says rudely and the look on Wendy's face makes Natsu want to tear him to shreds
"now, now Natsu we can't ruin this," I say and he grumbles as we continue to watch
"by the way wendy, how is your brother?" Romeo asks and wendy freezes
" he is okay in fact i think he likes this girl that is staying with us," she says giggling
"Ohhhh do tell me more," Romeo says wendy then smirks
"i dont have to tell you anything anyways I think gray and your dad are leaving now and I think you should also go with them," she says and he nods and leaves and secretly looks back over his shoulder at wendy who has her back turned to him and then leaves for good.
