me and lucy change out of our bathing suits and start the twenty-minute walk home. I could tell Lucy was upset with me and I felt bad I just ruined a perfectly good day at the water park because of jealousy and she looked at me

"sorry" I apologize and she sighs
"sorry will cut it for me but what if they contact my father for-profit and lie about you and stuff then what would you do?" she scolds she was scary but not as much as erza as of right now "he will take me by force and blackmail back to the place to marry me off and live in solitude again in that STUPID room"
"lucy im so sorry i just got so mad that they were treating you like that," I say and she nods her head
"i understand but you went about it in the wrong way," she says and I put my head down guiltily
"but i know you were just trying to help so i can't really be that mad at you since that would be unfair," She says and I look at her
"How can I make it up to you?" I ask and she looks at me
"i dont know I'll get back to you," she says
"Okay, now you hungry?" I ask and she smiles
"now your talking Natsu" She chuckles and I subconsciously grab her hand and start pulling her and start running to my favorite cafe when i open the door the cashier looks at me
"Hey Natsu be with you in a second," Kiba says smiling I was about to say something to lucy until
"NATSUUUUUU!" I hear my name being yelled and I feel a squeeze on my hand that was painfully strong
"oh hey lissanna!" I say seeing the silvernette
"why is the blonde bimbo here?" she asks
"oh please lassana the only bimbo here is you, by the way where is your short friend?" lucy retaliates i see from the corner of my eye Kiba who was watching this with interest
"How dare you," lissanna says and
"oh i do dare sweetie," lucy says and now everyone is looking at us
"at least i dont put on makeup and cake my face along with doing plastic surgery all of you is fake" lissanna says nad lucy squeezes harder making my hand numb and grabs a wet wipe from one of the tables and wipes her face showing now makeup
"um bitch where?" she smirks "also my body is natural and i have not had any plastic surgery so please dont try to insult me, plus we all know you do all of that just to be noticed by Natsu, adn you know if he wanted to hang out with you he would have taken you to the water park and brought you and if i didnt know any better you were stalking," lucy says smirking and i can see lissanna's ears producing steam out of anger
"Alright ladies that enough i would appreciate if you took this fighting outside," Kiba says at the two girls who are bearing their teeth and glaring at each other
"damn you picked a good competition, i personally would go with the blonde but your choice man," Kiba says
"fine I'll leave we will settle this tomorrow lucy" lissanna says
"can't wait," Lucy says as she leaves and she looks at me
"sorry i just can't stand her" lucy apologizes
"it's okay neither can I so honestly thanks anyways meet my best friend Kiba he is the owner of this place" I introduce and Kiba nods as a greeting
"we will have just a fruit salad to share," I say and Kiba looks at me
"you not going to get your usual?" Kiba asks
"yeah I'm not feeling like it plus i know your fruit salads are amazing" I compliment and Kiba nods and head back behind the counter.
after we ate the food we headed back to my house to play some games again i could tell lucy was still irritated but di her best to hide it i sighed
"you okay lucy?" i ask and she looks at me sadly
"y-yeah," she says stuttering obviously lying
"i know your lying to me lucy," I say
"im scared I'm scared that lissanna will contact my father and I dont want to go back," she says sadly and I hug her
"i won't let you go back, you deserve to be happy, to smile, laugh, and find love, I promise on my pride that i will protect you and won't let you be taken away and if you are I will find you again okay?" I say and tears well up in her eyes and she hugs me tightly. suddenly I get a call from gray and I pick it up
Me: Hey bro what's wrong?
gray: um can i have bad news
me: spill it
gray: it regards lucy
me: what's wrong?
gray: apparently they found out she is missing and her father is on his way back
me: are you sure you heard the news right?
gray: positive it on every channel
me: thanks for calling, could you and the gang come to mu house at six?
gray: sure bye Natsu
me: bye
I hang up the phone and clench my fist and I see lucy do the same thing as me and I look at her
"he won't get to you i will make sure of it," I say
"i know thanks," she says and we turn on the tv just to be sure and like what gray said ita on every channel
breaking news Mr heartfillia has an important speech to make to everyone here he is
"Hello fellow citizens of Fiore my name is Jude heartfillia i would like to inform you that my daughter has gone missing, some time ago by one of her caretakers," he says acting all innocent
"im sorry Mr heartfillia correct me if im wrong but you did just say daughter?" the reporter asks lucy's father over the phone
"yes i have one son and a daughter i have kept my daughter out of the spotlight for a few reasons which are confidential," he says
"I see well do you know her age and name this way it will be easier to locate her if you are asking for the whole of Fiore to help you," The person asks
"she is seventeen and her name is lucy," he says completely ratting her out and I see her stiffen as she hears this
"i will be offering 500,0000 for her if you find her," he says with a serious tone
"wow big sun for one person," the reporter says
"yes though she is very dear to me," Jude says
"bullshit" lucy says "he could care less about my well being"
"well thank you Mr heartfillia im sure lots of people will be looking for her now have a good evening and i thank you for appearing on this show" the reporter and their call hangs up and i turn off the tv and growl he is not taking lucy away from here, from me,never, i will protect her even if it costs me my life she needs to laugh, be happy, to love and care, she should never go through that again i wont allow it I thought to myself n look at her who i can tell is slowly breaking down
