few minutes before dinner
"so what's wrong wendy?" I ask as the two of us sit on her bed
"you know how im friends with Shellia right?" wendy says sadly and I slowly nod my head
"yeah," I say
"well she um said she doesn't want to be my friend anymore and when I asked her why she didnt give me a reason and punched me and then what was even worse w-was she t-t-then went over t-to Romeo and asked him out in front of me even though she knows that I like him" wendy says as tears start falling down her eyes
"well do you know what he said?" I ask and she shakes her head
"no, i dont because after i heard those words i ran away crying," wendy says and I pull her into a deep hug
"it's okay let it out," I say adn she does wetting my pink shirt "I'm sorry that happened to you but im sure that you will find others who won't stab you in the back like that i promise plus you have me, your friends and your big brother I know losing someone precious to you can be heartbreaking but if im being honest with you wendy this learning curve will make you stronger, later on, i know it will plus you dont even know for certain that Romeo said yes do you?"
"i- i know but it just hurts a lot lucy," she says
"i know it does," i say as i remember the flashback of mina's death "anyways on a different note we should probably go and help your brother before he burns the house down," I say and wendy smiles and giggles wiping her tears
"yeah your right," she says and leads us down the stairs to the kitchen where Natsu is and not too long after Natsu, wendy and I finish dinner and we all dit down
"Well wendy why dont you tell them what you told me?" I say
"no i dont wanna its something they dont have to get involved with its fine lucy," she says
"you sure?" I asked and she nods her head at it
"Okay," I say
"so I have good news," Igneel says and everyone looks at her
"Asuna and her husband are coming for a visit and an interrogation session with lucy, oh yeah their bring their adoptive child called Yui," Igneel says
"i didnt know they adopted a kid," Grandine says
"wait this means that wendy and I have a cousin," Natsu says smiling
"yes but she is a ten-year-old she cant fight so dont challenge her" Igneel says and Natsu pouts
"WAIT YOU WANTED TO FIGHT THE KID," I say surprised
"i love fighting people you should know this by now," Natsu says and I sigh in defeat
"BUT WERE TALKING ABOUT A TEN-YEAR-OLD CHILD" I argue
"Yeah and?" Natsu says and I fling a piece of meat at his face
"WHAT WAS THAT FOR!" he says and I laugh and everyone else starts laughing
"what you mad?" I tease
"oh you're in for it now, COME HERE LUCE," He says and gets up out of his seat and I so the same and start running around the house away from the Nastu who still has some salami on his face and me who is still laughing at how ridiculous he looks.
"What are the scared one now?" he says
"no!" i yell over my shoulder "why would i be scared of you?"
"Because you're running away from me" he points out
"well because i can," I say as I dodge a chair leg which Natsu crashes into and I laugh but crash into a chair after but run upstairs and hide
"luceeee you can't hide forever," he says and I sigh and nod my head but stay silent hope that he would leave and seen he does as his footsteps fade away somewhere. i contemplate whether i should go and down to the dinner table or if i should just stay here i decide to go back down and i thankfully dont see Natsu hiding behind the door and when i get downstairs i see a beautiful girl downstairs with sandy platinum blonde hair a child who had long black hair and a boy with midnight black hair that looks like Natsu's slightly and they look at me who is panting
"hello there my name is Asuna you must be lucy," she says and i nod my head
"yeah," I say smiling
"I SEE YOU" I hear Natsu say and he lunges at me and i sigh at it as i dodged in time and he crashes into the girl who i automatically turn my attention ignoring Natsu
"you okay?" I ask
"yeah im fine thanks by the way where are my cousins?" she asks obviously teaseing the dimwitted Natsu making us all laugh
"lucy i need to talk to you privately," Asuna says and I nod nervously as she says that and I fallow her to a different room and grabs both my hands
"are you dating my baby Natsu please say you are," she says and I blink multiple times confused
"WHAT! no! but can you help me with my dad or not?" I say taken a back but bring the topic back and she smiles and nods her head and I hug her
"T-Thank y-you i really want to be free of his chains im dont being a puppet he can control I say breaking down and she nods her head but her eyes darken upset and I tilt my head and she hugs me
"what's wrong?" I ask
"im going to have you go back there temporarily so I can get evidence for the case, but with that, we can win the case," she says determined at what she was saying and I nodded
"tell me what i need to do," I say determined and she smiles at my spirit
"of course," she says and starts explaining the plan
