Jungkook sobbed endlessly as he watched the wooden box that was an empty coffin gets lowered into the newly dug pit.

They never found Yoongi's body. After the first six months of no clues leading any further into the missing person case, the police left it as a cold case and announced that the boy must be dead by now.

With nobody or evidence to prove what has happened to Jungkook's lover, they all lost hope and came to the sad realization at that the poor boy must be watching over them with the other angels in heaven.

Jungkook was handed a simple red rose by Yoongi's mourning brother to throw on the coffin as a final farewell.

Jungkook took shaky steps towards the six-foot deep hole and looked down. A net was draped over the varnished cover of the coffin. There laid already a large bouquet worthy amount of flowers scattered across the lid.

Jungkook's fluffy brown fringe fell over his eyes as he held the beautiful rose close to his heart and muttered his final prayers and wishes which he hopes will one day reach Yoongi.

"I hope the best for you Yoongi, where ever you are. I love you, Hyung. I pray to the angels and god above that my love and wishes will reach you, my love. Please wait for me until then." The brunet whispered to the delicate flower, kissing the top of the blood-red petal before he threw it with the rest of the withering flowers.

Jungkook couldn't bring himself to watch the wooden plank being moved to temporarily cover the hole which declared the end of the ceremony.

Yoongi's brother, the only person in Yoongi's family that approved of the relationship Jungkook shared with Yoongi. He was the only person he had to help him through this hard time.

Yoongi's brother drove him and Jungkook to where the mourners were heading afterwards, they planned to eat a meal at a restaurant close by the cemetery. Once everyone was there they ordered a simple meal of soup and a cup of tea or coffee with some sandwiches and maybe a few biscuits on the side.

At an average funeral, members of the deceased family and friends would share stories of what the person was like when they were alive but no one was able to bring themselves to even speak.

If only they had the reassurance of what had happened to Yoongi, then maybe, they would have been able to talk up, but at this moment. They couldn't.
