"Finally food!" Jungkook smiled to himself, he said a little prayer of thanks to himself before digging into the out of date food and really appreciating it. It was the first piece of food he had all morning. It was really no surprise as to why Jungkook was in such poor shape when he didn't even have the money to eat properly.

Looking over the few pieces of dead food in front of him, he decided to save some kimbab to bring back to the nice man in the subway station. He looked after him last night like a father figure which is more than what his actual father has ever done. Even though it wasn't much, Jungkook thought it might express his gratitude.

"It's nice to see you again."

Jungkook froze and choked on his food but managed to swallow the food instead of coughing it up. This guy was really everywhere. Almost like he was stalking him but Jungkook knew that that was just his paranoia talking.

"H-hello, sorry I was just eating..." Jungkook coughed, covering his mouth to not let the man think he has bad manners. He pushed his food to the side and bowed his head to apologize though he had nothing to apologize for. "H-how can I help you?"

"I was wondering if you sold tubs of ice cream?" The kind man asked with a tilt of the head and Jungkook just nodded, shuffling from behind the counter and brought him to the freezer section. "Thank you!"

Jungkook nodded and waited at the till for him to come, occasionally taking pieces of dead food from his bento box. He was startled we get saw the man struggling with carrying a mass of different foods and bottles of alcohol. What the hell was he planning on doing with all of that food?

"Sorry, I'm buying a lot today." He chuckled, placing the pile on the counter and threw a charming smile, causing a blush to take place on Jungkook's face.

While Jungkook started scanning the products, the man was trying to think of a conversation starter. He tried thinking of something that might break the ice, maybe a joke but he didn't see himself as much of a comedian. As he continued to ponder, his eyes wandered to look at what he was eating.

A bento box. Taehyung continued staring and frowned when he noticed it was a few days out of date. He was confused, why would he be eating something like that.

"That will be sixty-eight thousand won." Jungkook hummed, finished scanning and counting up the prices.

The customer smiled, handing two fifty thousand notes. "Keep the change."

Jungkook's eyes widened as he looked down at the money in his hand. "A-are you sure? Thirty-two thousand is a lot to be losing."

"I'm sure. Thank you for you're kind service. Um... so I was wondering if I could get your name?" The man asked sweetly as he watched Jungkook pack the food and drinks into plastic bags.

Jungkook was startled by the sudden question. "Um... J-Jungkook."

"You have a beautiful name. Jungkook, the pillars of the nation, truly beautiful for such a pretty face. My name is Taehyung." Taehyung smiled sweetly and although Jungkook was taken back by the sudden overload of compliments. He hasn't received a compliment in years really, besides the ones that Jimin said to him the other day about his shoes and hair.

"T-thank you... T-Taehyung." Jungkook blushed, handing the bags to the man he somehow manages to keep bumping into him who he now knows as Taehyung. The handsome man that offered him his food at the library and the met at the cafe.

Before Taehyung left, he reached into one of his plastic bags and pulled out a small cake and pushed it towards Jungkook with a kind smile tugging on his lips. "I hope you have a nice night. See you soon, Jungkook."

Taehyung bowed his head and left to a black slick car waiting for him outside. He opened the car door, throwing the bags into the car before letting out a deep sigh and sitting on the back seat.

"Where to now Mr Kim?" Taehyung driver queered as he readjusted the rearview mirror before turning back to look at his boss.

"Home please, Song." Taehyung hummed as he closed his eyes, lying back into his seat before opening them once again and staring up at his roof.

"How is that boy?" The man questioned, focusing on the road but decided to try and make some conversation between the two to make the time fly by quicker.

"I worry. He... he looks so delicate and precious. I want to take care of him. He's just so... beautiful, I simply can't explain it in words." Taehyung awed, smiling childishly at just the idea of being able to see him again.

"Why don't you ask him out, sir? You talk so patiently about this boy. I'd love to meet the person that made my boss swoon for him." The man grinned at Taehyung, making him laugh.

"I'd love to. I'm just scared that I might scare him off. One day, I'm sure I'll have the courage to talk to him and pop the question. Although for now, I'm stuck going to the places he likes to go and visiting at his work." Taehyung chuckled at the thought of how many times they will have to casually meet before he has the confidence to finally ask the big question. Still, it makes him excited and he is already looking forward to their next encounter.

"I bought so much stuff. I bought the wine you and your wife enjoys. Also treats for your kids, no nuts, I know your son as a mild allergy." Taehyung hummed as he went rummaging through the plastic bag, transferring the wine and sweets into the one bag before placing it on the passenger seat beside his driver for him to take home once Taehyung is dropped back at his home.

"T-thank you, sir! That is awfully kind of you." The man thanked but Taehyung just waved it off.

"No need, you work with me early in the morning and stay back until late into the night, I keep you away from you family so these little treats are the least I can do." Taehyung tsked but the driver couldn't help but continue to thank Taehyung for the kind gestures.

"All you have to do to win that boy's heart is show your generosity and he'll be as swooned for you as you are to him." The man joked but Taehyung hoped that that will be true.

He was always told that his kind giving nature was always one of his best features, it was just a bonus that he was blessed with such good looks that can attract anyone. "Jungkook... it's such a beautiful name, isn't it? Something the angels would choose."

"Traffic is very good today sir. We made it here in no time." Song spoke up, dragging Taehyung out of his little fantasy of Jungkook.

"Oh, thank you. I'll see you tomorrow, Mr Song." Taehyung bowed his head, taking his groceries out of the bag and left the car, waving his employee off. Taehyung took in a deep breath of the night air. "It's such a beautiful night."

He used a keypad to unlock his home's gate, entering the garden and closing it behind him before taking the short hike up his garden path, taking glances at his greenery and flowers to make sure nothing was out of the ordinary. Taehyung opened his front door and sighed when he was met with frost bitingly cold and quiet. His house was so miserable.

The emptiness was slowly breaking his lively soul. One day he would finally love to come home and find the love of his life sitting and waiting for him to shower him with love the moment he walks through the front doors. One day maybe his dreams will come true. Although for now, he had to live with his misery of being alone.
