"Who's the lucky guy?" I jumped at the sudden voice. Jennie's curious face peered from over my shoulder as she analyzed my scribbled notes. Completely ignoring the actual notes, and smiling down at the small butterflies and hearts as they pranced around a certain someone's name. "Park Jimin... oooh." She teased and leaned over to boop my nose. "Shut up, it's nothing serious." I said as I closed said notebook and shoved it into my bag.

"Boy talk?" Jisoo inquired as she sat her tray beside mine, Jennie settling and onlooking from the other side of the lunch table, she usually liked her space, so this wasn't an unusual occurrence. She was really big on germs and people accidentally spitting in each other's food while talking. I didn't like the idea of sharing saliva either, but then again it slipped my mind most times so I didn't care.

"I mean he's cute, and I managed to catch feelings just because he helped me out during class." I explained, not wanting to put too much detail into it thinking they'd assume I just liked anyone, though I probably did. I fell for people as relentlessly and repeatedly as rainfall.

"Sooo what I'm getting here is... you like anyone who pays attention to you?" Jennie questioned jokingly. "So you must have a fat crush us..." Jisoo laughed, flaunting her adorable giggles.

Ignoring them and discretely smiling at jisoo's joke, I continued to eat, the image of jimin reappearing in my head.

That was until, some cold liquid was poured all over me, running down my shirt and leaking onto my skirt.

Knowing exactly who it was, I didn't wanna turn around. Clenching tightly onto my fork and hearing gasps all around me, I tried my best to contain the rage in me threatening to crawl out. I can handle milk, but definitely not getting punched in the face in the middle of the cafeteria.

"Oops." I heard the familiar voice mutter. "I'm sorry, I thought you were the trash." I slowly turned in my seat to face her, revealing my disheveled figure and pushing the wet hair from my face. "Go away, you bitch. Can't you bother someone else?" Jennie hissed from behind me, Jisoo practically jumping over the table to cover her mouth.

"Please, we don't want any trouble." I felt the sympathy laced within her tone as I looked over at Jisoo, her pleading eyes making me more sad for her than I was for myself. Despite currently being drowned in chocolate milk.

I turned once again to face the culprit, Lalisa, to see that she wasn't even glancing in Jisoo's direction, and that the trash was all the way by the exit, as it always is. It wasn't too late before I also noticed most of the nearing tables giggling and eyeing me. I opened my mouth to say something, and she looked at me questioningly, but the words wouldn't come out. "Oh well. I'm sure you wouldn't mind. chipmunks are meant to be brown anyway... chubby bastard." Throwing the carton at my face, she left like that. Not even bothering to look back as her crew cowered behind her.

Per usual. It was a said rumor, and it's becoming more believable as time passes, that Lisa tends to shred through whoever disrespects her in her little clique to a pulp. Bloody and everything.

That's why some of them would leave school for days and come back wrapped in bandages, on a few occasions—some even in casts. The worst part? the girls would be too afraid to even say it was her.. they'd stage it for a fall down the stairs and even blame it on someone else. It sucks because the parents of these preppy, rich and pampered kids are always gone or on some business trip, so they have no one to really cry to after an incident like that.

I watched like a coward as she strutted her way out of the cafeteria. My friends and I silent, those around us still watching for my next move. I looked around, locking eyes with some of the people that giggle and gasped. "She looks like a wet rat." One of the girls remarked in a lousy whisper. Her comment was followed by laughter from her bitchy friends. "I look like a 'wet rat' because I have milk all over me right?"

She nods, a stupid smirk plastered on her face, her friends still laughing. "You're dry. What's your excuse?" I fire back, sending a glare before standing up and heading out of the cafeteria, my friends on my trail. I wanted to smile in satisfaction at the "ooh's" that surrounded her, but I wasn't really in the mood for laughter.

Jennie and Jisoo helped cleaned me up as much as they could with towels and napkins in the girl's bathroom. "Thanks guys." I breathed out any frustration I had pent up. Jisoo continues to pat the side of my face dry as Jennie hummed a small "mhm."

Once I was changed into Jisoo's second change of clothes, we reluctantly headed back to class, though I persisted in skipping school. "You should get back at that girl." Jennie huffed lowly. "All she's done is made your life a living hell."

"Yeah but you guys are here to make up for it." I swing my heavy arms over both their shoulders. Jisoo gasped from beside me. "That's not a bad idea." She adds, and I contort my face at her. "Since when do you support violence? Thanks but I don't want my head smashed in." I try and laugh it off, forcing myself to make it sound as convincing as possible, but even I could tell it sounded fake. "I'm not 'supporting' violence. That's something I would never do, but I am down for revenge. Here's what I'm thinking, you should kill her—"

Jennie and I whirl our heads in Jisoo's direction, eyeing her crazy and separating ourselves from her until we were huddled against the lockers. "—with kindness buffoons. Murdering someone is too much effort." We sigh in relief, although I still gawk at her suspiciously. Too much effort...?

"What I'm saying is, maybe the only way to get back at her is to hit her hard—" We're quick to cut her off.

"I thought we established that violence isn't what we're going for." Jennie chuckles. "Yeah, again, I want to survive." I put emphasis on the survive.

"I mean emotionally. Now, please let me finish." I pretend to zip my mouth shut and throw away the key. "All she can do is smack you around. Some times more severe than others, but she can never reach you emotionally. Now that's where you come in." She says this in her most quiet voice, using her hands to draw out the idea as if we're organizing a heist. "Well, she hasn't tried to 'hit me emotionally' at least not yet... and how the hell do you hurt someone that doesn't care about you?" I rebuke almost immediately. We turn the corner, inching closer to the classroom.

"Befriend her." Jennie butts in after seconds of indefinite silence. Jisoo smiles a wide smile and nods in her direction, they high five inches away from my face and Jennie snaps her fingers before pointing at my chest. "You're gonna be friends with Lalisa Manoban this year."

Great. This day just couldn't get any better.
