Oh! Plateau
Tell me,you that is geographically unique
A home of peace you are called
How then does't such bestow upon you
A calamity that claimed lives of many
in the early hours of yesterday
Blood of man,pool of Bethesda
Man and woman,strapped of mortal life
Children ,left orphans
Era of immortal cow/dispensable man
Oh! mother earth
Tell me and by all your art
What shall become of man in this act
What shall generations yet to come say of thee
You that claim to be Gods surveyor
How long will you stand behind those curtains
And watch man perish in the hands of these Ambassadors of poverty,
unrepentantly corrupt political overlords,
damnable herds men.
Oh! Father land ,Nigeria.
Tell me and by truth
When shall we live in peace and let nature take its course?
How long will it take be free from the devil's claws?
When shall we be escape the devouring jaws of this politician,herdsmen and all those?
For our dreams are filled with ghosts
Who have blatantly refuse to rest in peace
Until their stories of old
Are told with every act of revolution...
