It wasn't easy to be famous and do things in secret, and somehow it was more difficult for Seokjin than for his younger brother. Jin was surprised to know through his manager about his brother's departure to Busan only the day after he had left.
Tae was like a ninja, incredibly able to camouflage. It wasn't like he could go unnoticed. He was a beautiful and flashy man. But the boy was good at covering his tracks. Maybe that was why he got easily into acting and not Jin, who had studied for it.
Jin was proud of Tae, no doubt, but he couldn't deny he felt betrayed and frustrated when Tae got famous as an actor and was chosen for more interesting and bigger roles than him. Jin could easily recognize his brother's talent, but he felt like some things were handed over to the younger Kim more easily than to him, who always worked hard to prove himself.
Jin couldn't abnegate his newly discovered love for MCing, but his dream has always been to be an actor. And now he felt like he was in his brother's shadow all the time. He didn't resent Tae for any of it, he just felt wronged. He had potential if exploited, but people only looked at him and thought he was just a funny guy with a pretty face.
Many times he heard he only had a profile to do caricatured personalities in rom-com. And all of his jobs as an actor were doing hilarious characters. Not that he didn't like it, he sure did, but he wanted more! So it was when he decided that if nobody gave him a chance, he would build one for himself.
Seokjin was excited with his project, even if it was coming all out of his pocket. With all the MCing and modeling, he was able to save a good amount of cash to invest. He had been very occupied the last months putting everything together and trying his best to leave everything in secret.
But like it was said in the beginning, it was harder for him to do it so. Rumors were already going around about a secret project and that left him frustrated. So he had to halt everything, as he was expecting the rumors to cool off. So when the opportunity to take some vacations back at Busan came, even if not at all planned, Seokjin felt like this was his sign.
It was the perfect timing since he had a need to do some research for his project. But as usual, his little brother never did things accordingly and he left Seoul a week earlier than they had agreed. So, in order to try and stop a tragedy, Seokjin hopped on the first plane to Busan, without being careful enough to cover his tracks.
