The darkness was so cold now. She just wanted to get warm. Or melt away. Either would work for her, but what about the man with the crimson eyes?
Would he mourn her again? Was he still looking? Did he know she wanted to give up? Did he even care?
He had to care. She had seen the love in his eyes. Could still remember the way he smiled at her. The way he said her name. The way he held her. The warmth of his kiss.
That last thought brought her enough warmth to get through the cold and loneliness. For now, at least.
The man with the red eyes had said he would be coming for her soon. How much longer did she have to wait, though?
She needed his real warmth. His touch. His love. She needed him.
However, could she hold on long enough?
She was beginning to wonder if she was a philosopher with all the questions she was asking.

Sebastian, who had cleaned himself up and put on a fresh change of clothes, was making the finishing touches on the resurrection spell. He had mad sure to dispose of Undertakers blood before starting and gave the reaper a proper burial. Awakening a fairy was a dangerous and idiotic thing to do, making Alexander a truly despicable creature.
Putting his old butler uniform back on would not have been his first choice, but it would be something familiar to Idris, and that was enough to pull him through.
Grell, with Ciel behind him, stood a good ways away. Even for a reaper, a resurrection spell can be dangerous. It tries to suck as much magic in as it can even when it did not need any more. That was the problem with using magic of fairy origin. It tended to be unstable and kill needlessly. That was bad, even for demon standards.
He should have been worried, considering he had just devoured an all powerful being, but Idris was more important.
He finished drawing the resurrection circle, made completely of his own blood, now sticky on his fingers, and stepped back.
"Make sure both of you stay back for this part," he warned as he turned his head to look at the two behind him. "There is only enough magic to bring on person back, and every drop is going to Idris."
"Ah! Sebby, you're so cold!" Grell said with hearts in his eyes.
"Just get on with it," Ciel demanded.
He turned back to the task at hand. He walked to the side of the circle and carefully lifted Idris' into his arms. Painfully ignoring the fact that she was stone cold, he gently placed her body in the center of the circle. The spell called for something belonging to the person for it to work. What better belonging than her well preserved body? Before standing, he gently caressed her cheek and brushed a lock of hair out of her face. He had taken great care when he brushed out her long hair and placed her in a dress he knew she would like.
He stepped back to the outside of the circle, placed his hands palms up toward the sky, and closed his eyes as he tilted his head back. His lips began moving in an unheard chant as he repeated the spell over and over. His tongue rolled as the ancient language was recited. He heard the crackling of thunder as the sky darkened and clouded over.
The circle began to glow and Idris' body radiated with a pure white light.

She felt odd. As if something was sparking inside of her and she had no control over it. It was not any different from what she had been experiencing in her time here. She had no control over anything.
