Macie wanted to scream, she had driven her car off the highway ledge trying to avoid a crash, and her truck flipped over. Her phone flew from the front seat to the back, and she was stuck behind the airbag and the dented front of the car. Her screams just blened in with everyone elses, she's seen tornadoes before, everyone has here in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Especially her, her family's sucess revolved around tornadoes, where they where, how big, where it's going, where it's been, we need to make sure we will still have crops to sell. She sceamed once more as another car flew off highway to land next to her.
Lightning illuminated the night sky, letting her see a flash of the tornado. EF 3 she guessed based on its size. Not good.
She started throwing everything she could find at the window, untill she found an umbrella. She turned it upside down and stabbed the air bag, it burst but she was still stuck under the dented front of the car. In panick she rpped off her seat belt and grabbed on the other chair, and stated pulling herself free. "Ow!!!" she yelled when she heard a snap, but she was free. she dragged her self to the back grabbed her phone and pulled her self out a shattered window in the car. She collapsed on the floor only to have to jump up to avoid a falling street sign, she had to have something wrong with her ankle, and her neck, but after cracking her neck a couple times it felt better. She picked up a chunck of grael broken from the highway and broke the window of the car that had fallen next to hers.
"Please!!" the woman cried "Help my kids! "
she pulled a crying little girl out of the closest seat, and a boy who had dislocated his arm in the front.
'Thank you!" she sighed "leave."
"no come on I can get you out!" Macie knew she wasn't gonna leave these kids without a mother she already knew what it felt like to have no parents.
" Im too stuck, run!, keep them safe"
"SNAP!"
Macie looked up horror struck as a tree snapped and plundged into the car.
"NO!" The boy screamed, he was around 14, too old to forget.
Macie turned turn to the kids " Im so sorry, but you have to run, find a ditch and lay there for a while and you'll be okay."
SHe watched them run then ran back up to the highway. A car sat infront of the tornado she remembered from school. Ronan Tarrek.
He was staring at something above and she finally saw the truck being tossed in the air. She bolted and ripped the door open.
He stared at her horror struck, and she almost laughed, the Ronan Terrak was horrorstruck. But now was not the time. She grapped his shirt and pulled him out of the car. "Run you idiot" and shoved him forward.
She didn't know how far they got, but she knew when it hit, as the crash sounded, and the light of fire swallowed them whole.
