"Astrik!" she cried and threw her arms around the stranger. "What did she do to you?"
Astrik just stood there in her arms "Oh Nova" He eventually hugged her back "You don't know how much I miss you."
" I missed you too Astrik, come inside quickly." To her luck Astrik followed her inside.
"Astrik?" Jax asked in disbelief
"Where have you been?"
"Where do you think?" He said flipping his new dark hair, which he definitely wasn't used to. "She kept me for herself, I snatched children for her, seared words into their backs. It was awful."
"So she let you go" Nova knew she wouldn't do that but she was afraid of the other answer.
He sighed "no."
Nova drew in a breath. Daunt was going to get him. "so you came here to hide?"
"She already found me."
"Did she do this to you?"
He nodded solemnly.
"Astrik, I, why did you come here?"
"She made me come with her. I wanted to stay at Chrystler."
"Okay. You can stay here for a while." Jax offered
"Thanks, you haven't changed one bit Jax." he said and Nova could tell he wasn't serious about the thanks part as Jax set his jaw.
