Macie looked odwn at her room now in pieces. She fixed everything, then opened her window, and jumped out. She ran in the pouring rain, untill she wan't sure if the water on her face were from tears or the rain. She remembered now, especcially Daunt. She knew she couldn't trust her, and now her brother, her brotheractually by blood. She knew the awful things Daunt had done to people. She ran to the store where Fawn was. Macie found Fawn packing her car with groceries.
"Oh my god what happened to you!?!" She said
"Fawn, I- I need your help." Macie choked on her tears
"Come in the car, lets talk" Fawn was training to be a phsycologist so she was good with talking.
"I have to ask you a question." She said once they were in the car.
Fawn nodded.
"are, are you human?"
She didn't look surprised. "What dream did you have?"
"No. I'm not and something really bad is going to happen for people on earth, there is going to be an awful war. You have to believe me, please!"
"I believe you Macie. Is there anything we can do?"
"No." Then she remembered she wasn't alone "But there is something I can" She got out of the car and started running again.
"Run! Forest Run!" Fawn called and it only made Macie want to go faster.
She did track so running a couple miles wasn't hard. She started running to Ronan's house when she stopped and saw him following someone into the woods. Daunt. She guessed. She ran after him but something stopped her. Really something was holding her back. She turned around to see she was chained to a stop sign. Literally. She turned back in front to see Daunt in front of her."Sorry but I can't have you ruining my plans." Then she disappeared.
Now Macie truly felt alone because for the first time in forever, she was chained to a stop sign. Man you can really hate people sometimes, can't you?
