Akansha's POV

After a Week

Today is a radiant burst of joy that fills every corner of my heart, a feeling so profound that no combination of words could ever do it justice. This day marks my birthday, the sacred occasion celebrated by so many, but for me, it holds a deeper significance. After four long, arduous years apart, I will finally reunite with my friends. The thought swells with excitement and nostalgia, intertwining with a bittersweet longing for my parents, who have played an irreplaceable role in all my previous birthdays. I wish they could be here today.

As I prepare for the day, I can't help but think of Yuvraj. He has this incredible ability to brighten my spirits, and today is no different. He treats me with such tenderness that sometimes it feels as if he views me as a delicate treasure. I admit that it can be a little overwhelming at times; it definitely has its annoyances. Huff! But beneath it all, my heart swells with affection for him, because he is undeniably MINE-my devoted boyfriend and my everything!

He has taken the lead in organizing this special celebration, overseeing every minute detail, from the dazzling decorations to the grand arrangements. His right-hand woman, Vishaka Khanna, is by his side. You might be wondering about her; Vish, as we fondly call her, is a brilliant event manager who operates her own successful company, Khanna Group of Industries. Event management is just a dream that she labeled it under her father's business, which later she wholly inherited. I count myself lucky to have friends like them. They are not just friends they are the ultimate duo, the best of the best.

As I ponder all this, I reflect on my tendency to ramble. Suddenly, my internal musings are shattered by an enthusiastic voice that crescendos into a jubilant shriek!

"Hey!! Birthday girl!! You look absolutely stunning!"

Sarika, my delightfully quirky friend, beams at me, her eyes practically sparkling as they roam over my outfit. I can't help but smile back. Yes, I know I look good in my outfit-a soft, light peach-colored gown that skims my figure with a one-shouldered design, complemented by long diamond earrings that flicker like stars under the soft lighting.

"Tell me something I don't already know," I teased, a playful smirk dancing on my lips, knowing she couldn't resist responding with her signature sass.

"Oops! Sorry! But honestly, that dress is more breathtaking than you! After all, it's designed by THE SARIKA AWASTHI..." she said with a dramatic flair, her tone playful yet tinged with sincerity.

Of course, I know who Sarika is she's a celebrated fashion designer. Yes, the gown fits me perfectly, making me feel like a princess, but I'm determined to play coy. If I admit it, she will practically float away with pride.

"Whatever," I replied, rolling my eyes with feigned annoyance. Still, I can't help but glance at her as she gazes at me, looking lovely in her own light orange gown that mirrors the warm hues of the evening sun.

"You look good too," I offered with a slight, genuine smile, wishing to share the spotlight for a moment.

"Thanks!" Sarika chirped back, but her attention quickly drifted to something behind me.

"Now what has caught your eye?" I wondered silently.

"Come on, Akshu, let's go see what those three have concocted!"

Her grin was as wide as a sunrise, and I felt her excitement washing over me like a refreshing wave. I share in her excitement. How could I not?

"Let's go!" I agreed, and together we sashayed out of the room, making our way toward the hall, where the magic of the celebration was waiting to unfold.

Yuvraj's POV

At this moment, I feel as if I'm teetering on the edge of sheer panic! Time is slipping through my fingers like sand, and with only one hour remaining until our guests arrive, the hall is still a whirlwind of chaos. My heart races as I realize that this is not just any ordinary day - it's Akshu's birthday, and I want everything to be utterly perfect for her. But everything hangs in disarray, all thanks to the antics of Parth. My frustration hits a boiling point!

"What the hell are you doing, Parth?!" I bellowed, my voice echoing through the chaotic space. His lackadaisical demeanor and that infuriating smile drive me to the brink. I huff in exasperation as I watch him casually lean against the wall, completely unfazed.

"Come on, man, just chill," Vishakha retorted, attempting to maintain her composure. But how am I supposed to relax when disaster unfolds all around me? Ugh! It's maddening!

"How can I relax when you're the source of all my problems?" I shot back, frustration spilling from my lips. I glance around the hall, searching for a lifeline as panic begins to creep in. I can feel Vishakha's eyes on me, and as I peek up, I see her glaring back, making my heart skip a beat. I remember just how capable she is; she runs an event management company, after all.

Oh, dear Lord! "Vishakha... actually,"

"Yuvraj Sahay!" She exclaimed, her voice cutting through my thoughts, causing me to stutter my way through my explanation. To my side, I noticed Parth struggling to suppress his laughter, his shoulders shaking slightly while he watched me squirm.

Then, out of the blue, a familiar voice floated into the tumultuous air like music from a distance. It was the light in my life, Akshu! My heart swelled as I turned toward her, and there she stood, bathed in the soft glow of the hall lights. She seemed to float, looking celestial in her light peach-colored gown that shimmered like the dawn. Sarika, stood beside her, looking equally radiant in her deep orangish-peach dress. The theme was but a breathtaking tableau of colors!

"What on earth are you all doing?" Akshu asked, a hint of confusion lacing her tone as she surveyed the chaotic scene before her. It was clear she was taken aback by the state of the hall's pre-celebration frenzy.

"Yup! And nothing is ready yet, nor are you all ready," Sarika pointed out, glancing disapprovingly at both us and the disarray around.

"Don't worry, I'll handle it on time. My team is here to help. Akshu, could you please take these two misfits with you?" Vishakha said, her voice a mix of irritation and playful pleading aimed at Akshu. I briefly entertained the idea of bursting out in laughter. Poor Parth! But wait, is that frustration directed at me too?

"WHAT?! IDIOT AND ME? HOW DARE YOU, MS. VISHAKA KHANNA!" I exclaimed, flaring up in mock indignation, ready to defend my dignity. However, just as I was about to make my point, Akshu stepped in, swiftly cutting off our banter to restore harmony. "Guys, let's focus!" She said, her voice calm yet firm.

Then, out of the blue, Parth chimed in innocently, "But Vishakha needs our help, right?"

His voice was sweet with faux innocence, but I felt a mix of disbelief and agreement washed over me. NO! Yuvraj! Are you really going to let Parth charm us into doing work? I knew he could be endearing, but he was right, we needed to step up.

Looking into Akshu's eyes, I realized she was lost in contemplation, and for a moment, I wished for nothing more than for her to be wholly happy today, unbothered by the stress surrounding her.

Just then, a voice cut through the air, familiar and inviting.

"Who said she's alone?"

We all turned toward the entrance, where two men stood, their presence exuding a sense of ease and excitement, ready to embark on this celebration together.
