You as: Jung Eunha
Genre: AngstThird Person's POV:
Lamp light was being the only source of brightness in the room harnessing a couple that was lying quietly on the wooden king sized bed having their backs turned towards each other.
The only sound that was being heard at the moment was from the white lamp switch that was clasped between the slender fingers of Eunha as she kept on switching it on and off with the force of her thumb.
Both of the individuals were awake but none was uttering a single word however, this cold silence didn't live for long.
"Minho?" Eunha uttered in a low plain voice, it seemed like she forced the mere name out of her gob while referring to her supposed 'better half' that was lying on the opposite side of the bed.
"Hmm?" Minho having his eye lids shut responded back showing lack of interest towards the latter.
"I think we should get divorced" Eunha said causally while playing with the corner of the beige floral printed velvet quilt.
"I think the same" Minho rejoined back as his eye lids laggardly opened, agreeing to the previously said statement and mimicking the same casual tone used by Eunha.
"After the Divorce what will we do about Rose?" Minho catechized still carrying the same stark and plain aura evincing from his tone.
"Well, I don't know all I can say is that I don't and I can't keep her with me" Eunha responded showing not even slight amount of empathy for the little girl.
"You're the one who wanted to have her on the very first place, it's your mistake don't you think you should take responsibility of her" Minho let out a small faded scoff before mocking Eunha.
"Rose clearly isn't the sole mistake I have made in my life, this marriage in itself was the biggest mistake and now I am trying to correct all of these blunders" Eunha threw out in response to her husband to which Minho just eye rolled and heaved a sigh not wanting to indulge into yet another long useless debate with her soon to be ex-wife.
"In that case I also can't and don't want to keep her so let's just send her to the orphanage" Minho put forward his idea not over viewing the fact that how his scabrous decision can afflict the life and tender age of the little girl.
"That doesn't seem like a bad idea let's get her into the orphanage by tomorrow" Eunha agreed to the decision made by Minho,
Afterwards, she let out a deep sigh as she finally switched off the only source of vividness in their room causing each and every thing present in the space to get engulfed by murky shades of dark, the same way as the dark colors of disenchantment and hate had engulfed their hearts, depriving them of the true colors of love and affection and making them lose the will to hold on tightly to the boughs of this pious relationship.
The end of this scared bond was indispensable because both had let petty issues, never ending baseless arguments, ego and lack of compromise to weaken the strong link that they had formed together.
Any relationship that loses these elements of respect and compassion for each other is bound to get to its miserable end.
