Nicole gave Matt one last kiss while Noah ran to grab his backpack, "I'll see you when I get home. Be safe."

"You too."

"Love you."

"I love you too."

Nicole pulled away from Matt just as Noah announced his arrival into the room.

"I'm ready momma!" cheered the little boy.

"You got your backpack for daddy's?" asked Nicole.

"Yep!"

"Okay. Remember daddy's picking you up from school today."

"Yep! Bye Matt."

"Bye little man! Have fun at school!"

With that, they were out the door.

Later that day, Kelly picked up Noah from school. The boy began to tell him all about his day as Kelly drove them home.

"Wow. Sound like you had a pretty good day."

"Yeah! But I saw something funny this morning."

"Oh yeah? What did you see?"

"Mommy was kissing Matt."

"Oh really?" smirked Severide, amused by the fact that his son ratted out his mother.

"Yeah. She was kissing him like she used to kiss Tonio before he left."

"Interesting. Does mommy know you saw?"

"Nope. I think it's a secret."

"Oh okay. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone."

Kelly drove home, making a mental note to make fun of Nicole and Matt later.

"Alright Momma! I'm ready!" Noah grinned.

Today was bring your child to work day, so Noah was getting to spend the day at the district with Nicole. Intelligence didn't have any cases, so it'd be safe for him to come.

When they got to the station, Noah was ecstatic. Nicole showed him how she scanned her palm to get in before showing him around the bullpen.

"This is so cool!" he cried, super excited.

"Come on lil homie, I'll show you are police rooms where we talk to bad guys," Atwater smiled and Noah followed after him.

"He's loving this," chuckled Nicole as she stood next to Jay, "Thanks for showing him the whole officer belt. I appreciate it."

"Of course. You know I love that kid."

"And Hailey and Kim, thanks for showing him the squad car."

"No need. I haven't gotten to be in a patrol car in a while. It was kinda fun," laughed Hailey.

"Yeah and it reminded me of the days I used to cruise around with Kevin," Kim grinned.

"Well I appreciate everything. He's going to have a lot of stuff to write for school."

A few minutes later Noah and Kevin both emerged from the hallway. He ran over to Nicole, rambling on about the interrogation rooms.

"Hey little man, you wanna sit at my desk. It'll make you feel like a really cop," offered Adam.

"Yeah!"

He plopped down at the desk and began working on his school work. As he drew the pictures he'd ask Adam random questions about he a police officer, it was adorable.
