The kids were asleep and Nicole was cuddled up in bed with Matt watching tv. The two were talking about the possibility of moving into a house or a bigger apartment. This then spiraled into a talk about their future as a couple and a family.
"Do you ever see yourself having any more kids?" asked a curious Matt as he turned down the tv.
"I mean, yeah, if you wanted to have more kids. I've always wanted a big family. Do you want more kids?"
"Yeah. I mean growing up it was just my sister and I. I always thought it would be fun to have more siblings. Do you have a magic number?"
"Magic number?" chuckled Nicole.
"You know what I mean! The magic number of kids you want."
"I mean whatever happens happens, but I've always wanted four."
"Me too."
"Really? What a coincidence."
"You know, if we do eventually expand our family, we're going to have to buy a bigger place."
"I know. I know. But we're good where we're at for now. I'm happy with you and the kids."
"I am too. We'll have more kids whenever it happens."
"Yes we will. Let's focus on having our actual wedding first."
"I love you."
"I love you too."

"So it's almost wedding time! Are you excited?" asked Kim as her and Nicole talked across their desks.
"Yeah! One month until the big day! Matt and I decided we'd make this our anniversary since it's also the day he asked me out," Nicole stated with a grin.
"What else have you been up to?"
"We've been running around getting things for the kids Easter baskets. It's just so hard because we always have the kids."
"Well if you want, I can take them for an overnight."
"No, I couldn't do that to you."
"Oh please! I LOVE those kids! Plus Noah loves hanging out Adam."
"That's true. You guys really don't mind?"
"Of course not! It'll be fun. Plus you'll get a night to yourself."
"Alright, if you truly don't mind, that would be great. You're a lifesaver Kim."
"Anytime!"
"I'll pick them up for daycare, get their bags together, and then Matt and I will drop them off. That okay?"
"Sounds good! Just text me when you're on the way."
"Will do."
Nicole went through the work day, looking forward to her night alone with Matt. She had texted him already, telling him the good news. The rest of the day seemed to fly by and before she knew it, she was dropping the kids of at Kim's.
"Alright, you be good for Auntie Kim. Okay?" Nicole cooed as she gave Bella a kiss and handed her over to Kim.
"Bye Momma! Bye daddy!" Bella waved back.
"Bye sweetie," Matt chuckled.
"And you little man, you be good. Help out with your sister. I'll be back to pick you up tomorrow from daycare. I love you."
"Love you too Mom. Bye Matt."
"Bye buddy. Have fun."
After Noah gave Nicole a hug, she thanked Kim one more time. Then her and Matt headed to the store. They tried to make the shopping quick, so they could maximize their alone time together. They finished getting the kids candy and a few toys before heading home. Nicole changed into a dark red dress that was low cut in the front while Matt changed into a dark pair of jeans and an olive green button up. He waited by the front door for Nicole. A smile spread across his face as he heard the sound of her heels clicking down the hallway as she headed towards him.
