At Hermione's flat...
Draco showed up at 5 right on the dot, as always impeccable timing. Never late, never early.
Hermione noticed he was wearing an all black suit. She stifled a laugh at his fancy attire. She was dressed in black leggings and a comfy Christmas sweater, her curly hair flowing wildly.
"Evening Granger." Draco greeted her with a small bow and a grin.
"Good evening Malfoy." Hermione replied.
"I'm sorry I should've let you know, you didn't have to dress formally for this." Hermione said looking him up and down.
"Don't tell everyone will be wearing ugly sweaters." Draco sighed.
"Hey! My sweater isn't meant to be ugly!" Hermione said.
"Could've fooled me." Draco said with a smirk. Hermione eyed him suspiciously.
"I'm just joking with you Granger. You look great." Draco said.
"Thank you." Hermione blushed scarlet.
"Here, I'll fix this." Hermione said, pulling out her wand.
"Accio Christmas sweater." Hermione said and instantly a sweater flew into her hands. She handed it to Draco who used magic to flash it on.
"Much better." Hermione commented.
"Shall we?" She asked and took Draco's arm in hers. Draco nodded and they were off.

At the burrow...
"Where's Hermione?" Ron whined to his family.
"She should be here any moment now!" Mrs.Weasley responded.
"Who's this special guest she's bringing?" George asked.
"Special guest?" Ron asked.
"Yeah apparently Hermione's got a plus one this year." George said. Ron furrowed his eyebrows.
"Ginny do you know anything about this?" Ron asked Ginny who was cuddling with Harry on the couch.
"All I know is it's some man from the ministry. She refused to let me know the name." Ginny explained.
"Huh." George shrugged but Ron was now sitting on the edge of his seat waiting to see who it'd be.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door.
"That'll be Hermione now." Mr Weasley said.
Mrs.Weasley rushed to the door and opened it. Hermione and Draco stood in the door frame.
"Hermione dear!" Mrs. Weasley kisses all over her face and enveloped her in a hug. When she finally let go she noticed Draco.
"And Draco! Oh we're so happy to have you! How have you been my boy?" Mrs. Weasley asked and gave him a huge hug as well.
Draco was astonished at her warm welcome and blushed happily.
"I've been doing good, and you?" Draco asked smiling.
"Oh we always get by!" Mrs.Weasley replied cheerfully.
"Hermione!" Ginny rushed to the door to give her best friend a hug.
"And Malfoy... a welcome surprise." Ginny added with a wink at Hermione. Hermione blushed. Harry was not far behind.
"Hermione! And you brought Malfoy, how are you?" Harry asked Draco while he welcomed Hermione with a hug and gave Draco a handshake.
"I'm doing good." Draco replied. Harry and Draco were not friends but they did get along. Ever since they had began working in the ministry together they had to.
"Haven't seen you in ages." Harry commented.
"How's teddy? Andromeda?" Draco asked him.
"They're great, teddy started kindergarten back in September. Already he's showing signs of magic." Harry explained.
The rest of the family soon came into the main room.
"Oh Ron's gonna lose it when he sees..." George said as he made his way to see Hermione.
"Hermione?" Ron asked from across the room. Everyone went silent. Mrs. And Mr. Weasley has gone to the kitchen to finish preparing dinner.
"You brought him?" Ron asked. He looked furious, as if smoke was pouring out his ears.
"Yes Ronald I did. Do you have an issue with that?" Hermione asked crossing her arms. Draco stood nervously behind her and shut the front door quietly.
"Do I have a problem with... YES of course I do!" Ron said.
"Well I don't care. You need to act like a civilized human and be kind to Draco because he is your guest. I invited him because I think he deserves to experience a real Christmas." Hermione explained.
"Oh shut it with your pity case Hermione." Ron mumbled. This was when Mrs.Weasley walked in behind him.
"What?" Hermione asked, she genuinely did not hear through his grumbling. Draco was starting to get embarrassed. This fight was all because of him.
"I said SHUT IT WITH YOUR PITY CASES HERMIONE! I DON'T WANT HIS KIND IN MY HOUSE!" Ron yelled. Everyone raised there eyebrows at him and dropped their jaws.
"Ronald WEASLEY!" Mrs.Weasley came up behind him. Ron blushed wildly. He knew he was in trouble now.
"Go to your room and think about what you did!" She said. Everyone snickered.
  "But mom-" Ron argued.
"GO!" She said. Ron moped up the stairs.
  "Sorry about him." Mrs.Weasley apologized.
"No my apologies, I shouldn't have come. I don't belong here he was right." Draco frowned and began to head out.
  Hermione grabbed his arm.
"Stay." Hermione looked in his eyes.
How could he ever say no to her?
  "Please?" Hermione begged.
Draco nodded and Hermione grabbed his arm and linked theirs together. She leaned her head on his shoulder.
"Now! Everyone sit at the table for dinner! The food is ready!" Mrs.Weasley announced rubbing her hands together. Everyone's chatter began again.
Throughout dinner everyone caught up with each other and had a good time. Draco was actually enjoying himself and Hermione couldn't help but notice how happy he looked. That just made her heart swell with joy.
At the end of the night Hermione and Draco bid all of the Weasleys adieu and parted ways.
Outside of the burrow they apparated to Hermione's.
"Well that was fun." Hermione said.
"Yes it most certainly was. I apologize for doubting you. Thanks again for taking me." Draco said.
"Oh it was no problem." Hermione said. Draco smiled at her.
"I had a great time." Draco said with complete and utter honesty.
"Me too." Hermione said with a small grin.
"We should meet up for coffee or lunch sometime over Christmas break." Draco said.
"Yeah that sounds good." Hermione answered. Draco smiled, he'd been doing that a lot lately.
  "I'll call you." Draco said.
  "Ok." Hermione said.
"See you later." Draco said and turned to leave.
  "Wait!" Hermione exclaimed.
  "What?" Draco asked.
"You never told me what you wanted for Christmas." Hermione said. Draco smirked. He leaned down and was almost touching Hermione's face and then swooped his lips upon hers. It was a quick but heartfelt kiss.
"Does that answer your question?" Draco smirked and apparated away, leaving Hermione red and speechless.
