Sofia was yanked out of the car and thrown to the ground. She put her hands out in front of her and scraped them on the hard gravel.
"And where did you think you were going?" Will's voice had a hint of amusement in it - as if Sofia's attempt to escape was nothing but a joke.
Sofia said nothing. She knew whatever she said would be cause for punishment, so she kept her face to the ground and said nothing.
"Look at me when I'm talking to you!" Sofia felt someone kick her in the side and she crumpled on the ground. Her face was turned to Will's and she saw that he was smiling.
"You're sick." Sofia spat at him. He didn't care about anyone, he was a merciless creature who was used to getting what he wanted. Sofia knew that saying something was a mistake when Will's face transformed into a frown.
"Did I permit you to speak?"
"Since when do you control me?" Sofia retorted. She regretted saying it as a massive blow to her stomach left her gasping for breath.
"When did you grow a backbone?" Will laughed, "It's actually quite cute, since your efforts are too late. We're already about to board my private jet and head far away from here so that you'll never escape again."
"You can't make me go with you." Sofia said through ragged breaths, "You can't force me to go wi-"
She was cut short by a sharp blow to the side of the head, sending everything black.
"I didn't permit you to speak."

Luke stood at the gates to William's mansion and peered through.
He couldn't make out anything since the house was so far away, but he thought he could see three black cars parked out the front and a crumpled white heap on the ground.
Sofia.
He turned to the officer next to him and nodded. They had been rehearsing this for an hour and knew the drill. First, the police would break down the gate and everyone would race down to the house. Second, the police would take out William's security guards and arrest William and then finally, Luke would pick Sofia up and take her away from the horrible torture mansion.
The gate was blown up and the police raced, sirens wailing, towards the house. Luke jumped onto a motorbike and charged after them.
